We stayed at The Mill Hotel, which is right on the bridge where old Nessebar meets new Nessebar. It's a fabulously located hotel for exploring the old town - you're super close to it, but away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel has a decent-sized pool, but it felt and looked like a very tired hotel. The breakfast also wasn't great - we only ate there once in our week-long stay.

Situated between Old and New Nessebar, The Mill Hotel & Restaurant is a splendid venue for nice and unforgettable holyday. The modern and unique complex is built around a very old watermill, very close to the bridge, connecting the ancient town, known as Messambria Pontika (2 000 years B.C.) and the newer area of Nessebar. The views from the hotel rooms are fantastic! In the front is the Old Town with its beautiful white-red ruins, shining under the sun, and all around is the sea, with its calm-blue waves and silver reflections. The location is very good, the two towns is very easy to reach and pleasant for a walk, and in addition there is good private parking especially for hotel guests. The hotel atmosphere is very romantic because of the old exterior and interior elements, well composed with modern furniture and conveniences. The rooms and bathrooms are cozy, the balconies are large and sunny, and the pool is large and chic. The food is natural and fresh, well cooked, the Bulgarian cuisine is marvelous as are the special Bulgarian wines. The staff are very kind and helpful, speak good English, the receptionists are bright and ready to offer some good ideas for exploring Bulgaria closely. We had two amazing weeks at The Mill Hotel & Restaurant and we will never forget this sunny vacantion in Bulgaria.

The location is great. A stroll to the old town. Rooms were large. Needed a bit of refurb but were fine. Bathroom was modern with lovely shower. The service at breakfast was the worse i have come across. A young girl called ALEX was a lump of misery every single morning. I know there is a language barrier but a smile is universal, we all recognise it. A terrible start to the day. She really needs to be hidden away not be front of house. Our cleaner VILI, could not speak english but smiled at us every single morning. She was a joy to see. Its such a shame that some people let the hotel down badly. For this reason I would never return I am afraid.

Fantastic location we can not fault. This is our first visit to Bulgaria after reading reviews listening to what others had too say about the hospitality etc we made this our September 2019 holiday destination. Bulgaria is a beautiful place, though the tourism trade needs to be brought up to date, the hotel is in a fabulous position although it does need a make over, breakfast is average, rooms are clean and quite spacious. None of this can I fault. So down to the knitty gritty why would I not come back to The Mill. Hospitality is very important to us and the service from front of house, bar staff, waiting on staff and lack of knowledge of English language is the most awful I have ever come across in all the holidays we have ever had. There does not seem to be any management present or no leadership in this hotel. Trying to find anyone from breakfast to evening bar service is none existent. We have found them all very rude and un-hospitable and for this reason we will not ever return to this Hotel.

Good location for visiting tourist area and old city area. Air conditioning in rooms didn't work - the fan was blowing, but the temperature never shifted more than one degree. Breakfast buffet was average for Bulgaria. Pool was good.

The hotel´s policy definitely prefers customer satisfaction over immediate cash gain. Staff was very helpful and professional, the receptionists speak very good English. The hotel serves only breakfasts, these are very good with wide selection of warm and cold food. We also appreciated the location which is right by the Old Nessebar. Rooms are very nice and clean with a quality wi-fi. I can definitely recommend this hotel.

Fantastic hotel, superb location, beautifully decorated rooms & surroundings. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok with a great choice to suit most people. Lovely food from lobby bar menu & restaurant menu, couldn’t fault anything. Pool area was spotlessly clean with a good few sun beds that you didn’t have to get up early for! All in all a fantastic holiday and would most definitely recommend this hotel. Thank You for making our stay perfect 👍

Last week we decided, a group of friends, to go for 3 nights in Nessebar for a short escape We booked this hotel, B&B, because is very close to Old Nessebar which we want to visit. The rooms were large, nice and very clean. The breakfast is good and you have a lot of choices. I can't comment on lunch or dinner quality because we eat in the old town where you can find plenty of good restaurants. Even the hotel is positioned at a crossroad it is quiet and you can have a quality sleep. The staff is polite and helpful, concierge and bar, but the maids don't understand english or other language than bulgarian, so is hard to ask something from them. The outdoor is also lovely, there is a pool overlooking the Old Nessebar and the terrace is nice Overall we liked very much our accommodation and the time we spent in the hotel. I recommend this hotel for the position, service and cleanliness
