Wow what a holiday!! Best holiday we’ve ever been on, kids ABSOLUTELY loved it as did we. We had nothing at all to complain about.
ROOM
It’s simple but practical, really clean, 2 adults and 3 kids we had the junior suite, 1 double bed which was comfortable (made from 2 singles) , a large bathroom, bedroom that had 3 beds for kids and a large balcony with beautiful sea views!
FOOD
the food here is the best all inc buffet food. We ate like kings! So so much variety, and a lot of the main meals are cooked fresh in front of you. Everything from grilled vegetables, duck, veal, king prawns, mussels, salad bar that’s never ending, breads that you never knew existed and it more then caters for kids, breaded chicken pastas and sauce. Fruit and dessert bar.. just amazing!
POOL BAR
Friendly staff, the most beautiful freshly fried doughnuts defo give them a go!! (Careful the seagulls love them 🤣) drinks on tap.. low alcahol which wasn’t a bad thing actually when you start earlier then normal and your not wobbling around by 4pm 😆
Pizzas are really really nice also!!

Don’t bother bringing towels as you get towels in your room to shower and also towel tokens from reception for pool Side towels.

POOL
Absolutely beautifully kept, so so clean, the pool temperature was perfect for how hot it was, we were in from 8am- 5 and never found it hard to get in. Also the indoor pool is big and available when ever .. heated :) they have a lot of seagulls which for us wasn’t a problem, we found them quite funny 😆
The pool side bathrooms are CONSTANTLY being cleaned by the lovely pool side cleaners. You never walk into a dirty bathroom and they’re build very well.. each cubicle is very private so no having to run back to your room after breakfast 🤣
kids disco was fab and the animation team are brilliant.. my husband is missing his friend nico😅
Evening entertainment was also very very good we loved it.. we had a pool side party one evening with fab music and fireworks.. brilliant!

They also have a games room with multiple pool tables, arcade style machines and ps4s!!

All in all, we have absolutely loved it!!
Thanks for having us!!
The mcseveneys 😎🍹

Spacious room with a view over the pool and the Black sea. Very nice cleaning, great bathroom with both tub and shower. We stayed in room 426, which is just in the middle of the Nessebar Palace, and loved it. The lady in the Market Shop is just so friendly and forthcoming! Staff in the restaurant were efficient, the food varied from day to day, was well prepared and there were so many different dishes to choose from. The outdoor areas are very nice. All in all a very nice stay. Loved the doughnuts, the paninis and the beach! Clean beaches and lots to do there. Parasailing, paddle boats, SUP boards, and even inlatable sofaes pulled by speedboats :-) So much fun for so little money!

The only thing we thought was negative, was that the pool staff didn't follow up on the hotel rule of the pool beds. The sign says that towels laid out on the pool beds before 08.00 would be removed, as you were not supposed to occupy a bed bed without being there in person. This was not followed up on, and lots of the beds were taken (towels laid out) long before 08.00. When I pointed this out to one of the pool guys, he replied rather snotty, and told me to remove them myself! I told him that I was a guest, and that this was not my job to do, but he replied with just a shrug.

just back from a week at this lovely hotel. myself my wife and adult son who is autistic .
due to a misunderstanding we were given two rooms however my son cant be left alone so we needed to have a room with a separate bedroom. This was dealt with by the lovely Janina who quickly sorted out an alternative large modern room with an amazing sea view. having read before departure that all the facilities wouldn't be open we were presently surprised at how much was actually open. the hotel staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs the place is spotlessly clean and in an amazing location right on the beach with easy access from the hotel complex the day time entertainment is relaxed and friendly with fun games for us that like to take part, plenty of food options throughout the day mean you never go Hungary. the only reason i gave it 4 stars out of 5 was the main large dining room was being refurbished which meant using the smaller Italian dining room this became very crowded at certain times otherwise i would highly recommend this hotel we will certainly be returning soon

We did not book this hotel we was place to buy TUI this was supposed to have been fabulous 50th birthday holiday for me and my partner and it turned into a nightmare, The hotel is in the middle of nowhere there’s
nothing round it you have no choice but to eat at the hotel unless you pay out for taxis down in too Nessebar.
It’s a 3 star at most, old dated & dangerous rooms if I’d wanted to shower in a bath I would have stayed at home, Not the cleanest of places, my partner was sick on the balcony from the fish he’d had that night couldn’t make it to the bathroom so I had to clear up what I could and let the cleaner know in the morning but she didn’t clean it up as when we came back you could still see it in the drain lid. the cleaner was supposed to hoover every day but she didn’t I know because I spilt some talcum powder on the carpet and it was there for two days !! lick and a promise was all she gave, the cleaner’s were seen drinking and reading peoples things and smoking in there rooms when they should have been cleaning. Cleaning in general round the hotel is poor there was some chocolate ice cream spilt on the stairs that go over the pool that was there all day and staff had walked past many times and nothing was done
FOOD was cold the only time it was hot was if you got there as soon as they opened, breakfast scrambled eggs cooked in a wok two choices solid or sloppy, bacon also cooked in a wok comes out either not cooked or burnt ,lunchtime menu was repeat at dinner even in the new restaurant food was cold and the restaurant itself was cold,
The American diner wasn’t that great either burgers are plain no seasoning and were never cooked in the middle ,as for the Italian restaurant they make such a fuss about it ie you can only go one time in your stay and must book a table but it’s nothing special it’s everything that you’ve already had during the week and still not that hot, for all the fuss they make they could have least put tablecloth on to make it feel special. Never found the sushi bar because apparently it wasn’t open ?!?
Good bits about this place is the German bar good hot food and good beer , cake corner in the tapas bar is lovely , pool bar does some nice pizzas but need cooking for a bit longer to make them great,
The paella man is good as long as you get there as soon as it’s cooked otherwise again that goes cold quick.
Staff in general are lovely they do the best to try and talk to you in English or in your language and are always willing to help.
When you complain to management they do there best to smooth it over and move to a new room, but that doesn’t always fix the problem you know they know there is something wrong with the hotel when on the day you leave your given a choice of a bottle of Bulgarian wine but then she ups it to a bottle of champagne to make sure and in her words write something nice about us when you go home !!!!!
Well I’m terribly sorry but I cannot be bought your hotel is the pits and it needs a major upgrade and if anybody asked me I will tell them never to go there

Dear FrankiesR8194SM, Thank you for your stay and feedback. We are sorry if your experience didn’t match your expectations. Although, as you say, you did not choose our hotel, we were happy to serve you – we were glad to accommodate you in one of the rooms on the 5th floor with an amazing sea view, to arrange a greeting card and a box of chocolates in your room for your birthday, and to change your room right after sharing your bathroom preferences. The bottle of sparkling wine was meant to be the visible expression of our verbal apologies for the inconvenience of changing the room. Your assessment of the location of the hotel is a matter of perspective - many of our guests choose our hotel precisely for its location - in a quiet and peaceful place, without the daily hustle and bustle of huge tourist complexes. In our new Mercado-style restaurant, we have plenty of hot and cold dishes every meal, with 6 hot show cocking stations with three different varieties of meat, fish and seafood, so the food is prepared in front of the guests – fresh and hot. The kitchen staff, led by the Chef of Palace prepare the dishes with much love, following the rotations strictly to avoid repetitions. All American Diner, which is at the disposal of our Palace guests only, offers half-pounder American burgers for dinner, custom made for each individual guest, cooked to the desired degree. The health and safety of the food are our utmost priority. The HACCP records of displayed food (cold and hot) are monitored constantly by the HACCP committee. No deviations from the norms were observed. Thank you for the nice feedback about the German Biergarten, the pool bar and Paellador Levante. Umi Japanese sushi bar is open from the 1st of June in the evenings, as written in the key card booklet given to you at check-in, and our reception staff would also be glad to help you with finding the location of the sushi corner. Thank you for the nice feedback regarding the staff being lovely and always willing to help. Best wishes and kind regards, Janina Ninova Quality Manager Sol Nessebar Palace/ Mare/ Bay

The chaos started with our arrival. We were told beforehand that there will be payed parking provided, yet when we went to check-in we were told that we can only park on some dirt road, surrounded by mosquito filled bushes nearby.

The chaos continued in the endless line for the elevators, filled with screaming/crying children. Every other resident is below 5 years of age, so going there as a couple is highly not advisable.

Food was rather bland. Some seafood and meat was nicely done and fresh. Eggs tasted like saltless rubber. Alcoholic beverages were extremely diluted with water. The alcohol in the cocktails that were all-inclusive, was the cheapest brand in the country. I have only seen passed out drunks on the sidewalk drink that kind of rubbing alcohol labelled as 'Rum'. All-inclusive drinks stop at 11 pm.

My favourite activity was the fight over paninis at 11 am. Or any other food that is provided at the snack bars. Entitled parents yell at the poor employees, begging to have their 'famished' children fed. Some customers also thought that the food service employees were customer support. As if the lady making sandwiches at the beach can resolve the lack of parking spaces.

Rooms and pool were clean.
Staff were polite.

We stayed for 1 week in this hotel. From the moment we arrived our 4 children ( aged 14, 9, 8, 6) , myself and partner all had a fantasic time. Oir view from the room was over the pool and Black Sea. Just idyllic.

The hotel is situated right next to a peaceful private beach, accessed by steps next to the water slides. A water taxi a few steps away can take you over to the beautiful old town of Nessebar. We took a taxi to the vibrant Sunny Beach for one day and late afternoon took a water taxi over to Nessebar from Sunny Beach ( highly recommended day out if you like shopping water sports and some sightseeing afterwards).

The water slides are excellent fun. The life guards are very attentive on every slide. Our youngest wasn't allowed on some of the slides but there were others she could use. There are numerous spotless pools of different depths for adults and children.

Buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent. Lots of choice to cater for everyone. Snack food available throughout the day around the pool area.

Evening entertainment for the children was very good. They enjoyed a circus show one night, a magician another night and a dance show on our last night. If you have a pool side room you can hear the enterntainment until about 10.30pm. The bars serve all inclusive drunks until 11pm so chattering etc outside can be quite loud until just after 11pm. Not a problem for us because our children were awake anyway. When we were all ready to go to sleep it was perfectly peacful outside.

The hotel was clean, the location beautiful, food excellent, staff very friendly and to top it all off, it was my birthday while we were there and a box of choclates was left in our room from the hotel for me. Just a lovely thoughtful touch. Thank you Nessebar Palace for a wonderful holiday!

We booked our trip very last minute so were slightly nervous on arrival. Short transfer from the airport was a good start. Check in at hotel was swift and efficient. Our room allocation was pretty dire with a first floor view into a green roof (see photo). We attempted to change rooms immediately but were told we had to wait until the following day to ask the hotel manager. The following morning we were shown around a 7th floor, sea facing view room with a view that was breathtaking. We were charged an additional 400 lev which worked out about £178 for 10 night. The view was worth every penny.
The hotel is spotless and cleaning of communal areas is constant.
Food is varied and well supplied and all inclusive wine was actually very good.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, right on the beach and only a 20 min walk into Old Nessebar which is just wonderful. The sea taxi is great fun for a treat. As others have commented never go for the first Taxi quote. We paid 20 lev for 7 of us which was very reasonable.
Probably our only criticism would be the queues at certain areas. The pizzas looked really good but the queue was consistently long. The panini bar was similar with pretty slow service. This was also the case in the lobby bar in the evenings.
Low floor rooms are a no go in this hotel. Room at the back are ok but need to be 6th floor upwards to look onwards to Sunny Beach.

Myself, Husband and 8 yr daughter had a fantastic 10 day holiday, really enjoyed it!
Lovely Hotel, room was large and clean,we had a large balcony with a beautiful view of the main grounds and sea. Plenty to do there for adults and children. The pool of the palace was lovely, used just for the palace ,but saw plenty of people in and around there from the two other Hotels, which is rather annoying with you paying that extra to stay there, must be hard to control when some people do not abide the rules. Some staff friendly others not so 🫤sorry, but I try not to judge too much on that one. Reception staff could be a little more inviting with them being front of house and the first faces you see.
The Animation team are just fantastic, friendly ,energetic and fun. Our Daughter enjoyed joining in with the dancing. The shows they put on where just brilliant,we especially liked the movie night, very funny and entertaining, so thank you!! The beach on the complex is just lovely plenty to do and a 5 min walk if that. Plenty of slides on the complex, Hotel grounds are lovely, they work really hard to maintain and keep clean, especially when some folk just leave food and rubbish laying around, just pop it in the bin!! Small shop inside the palace is packed with all you could need, lovely, friendly lady that served us. Restaurant had plenty of nice food choices, and also lots of other different food themed areas on the grounds, I especially liked the paella, and my fussy daughter liked the American themed food area, where she enjoyed a hotdog. Read a review regarding not many queuing systems in place, but feel that is an unfair comment to put on a review as it's the people visiting not the Hotel that let that one down, unfortunately you get that where ever you go. Check out is at 12 which is great and gives you more than enough time to pack. Had no issues or complaints whilst away, just had a leaking shower head, which we reported and was changed promptly with a smile.
I would most certainly recommend a holiday here , we wouldn't visit again but that is simply down to wanting the see something different each time we go away.
We had a fantastic stay so thank you!! Oh i didn't mention the very comfortable beds 😊 a must!

Arrived at Sol Nessebar Palace Hotel to friendly welcome from reception. Concierge took cases to our rooms.
Rooms 042 and 044 ground floor by pool. Rooms large, with lots of storage, fridge, kettle on request, clean with very comfy beds, very large bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle. Towels changed daily, beds made and room cleaned by friendly and polite maids.
Main restaurant had plenty choice of lovely food options always find something to eat, along with self service of hot and cold drinks. Italian restaurant also had great food freshly made pizza, pasta dishes.
The pool bar was great for drinks soft, tea coffe etc and alcoholic also fantastic fresh pizza, chips and hotdogs. Staff always polite and friendly even when very busy.
The pool area was kept clean and hosed down daily around sunbeds by hard working staff. Plenty of sunbeds whenever you chose to sit around pool. There was also a lovely large indoor heated pool.
Lots of daytime entertainment if you wanted to join in.
Evening entertainment was OK even though didn't go each night.
There were even midnight snacks available in the games room where there also a small bar.
All in all we had a fantastic week at this hotel and would definitely return for longer.

Large complex that is easy to navigate there are lots of activities to keep the Kids amused. On the whole staff were friendly and willing to help, the rooms are large and have everything you need. Food was ok not the best and could have done with being hotter however there was always something to suit all tastes available. WIFI a bit hit and miss and you need to scan a QR code to access which should be given to you on check in but wasn't which i found a bit strange. As an adult only holiday i would not return but if going with children i would as our nice aged 6 absolutely loved the place.
