we arrived in the evening and our room windows looked into a busy construction site - it is a business hotel, breakfast the usual fried noddles and rice, nothing special. They used to offer a promotion for free dinner, as it is a new hotel, but when we asked for the menu, they could not serve us. Bed not clean,...

Spent one night here as this is where my office booked me in. The staff are super friendly, from the bell boy who collects your bags to the front receptionist. Was taken to a room on the second floor by the very excited bell boy who tried his best to explain in English the air con and tv. I was...

It is a clean hotel with helpful staff. They offered complimentary buffet breakfast. They also gave us complimentary dinner on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Not bad for the price of US$50.00 per night. My room is spacious. I didn't watch the TV. The Internet is a bit slow.

I have stayed in this hotel for 3 weeks in February-March 2015 and for another 3 weeks again in July 2015. This isn't a particularly good hotel, but I believe the others in Taunggyi are worse! The rooms are very dated and in dire need of modernising. The staff are lovely and friendly but lack any proper training, so the...

Hotel service was not too much different as before.Staff were still friendly, room bed sheets, pillow cases and towels also not white as last time. Why didn't they use bleaching powder and good quality detergent? My room...

We had two rooms for my parents, sister, and I for one night. This hotel was the most disappointing of our Myanmar tour. While it technically has everything- cable TV, en suite bathrooms with toiletries, coffee/tea, & good breakfast, everything else about it was bad. The main concern was the immense smell coming from the bathroom. The staff was nice...

Very pleasant staff, reasonable breakfast of local food, en suite bathrooms with hot and cold water, a pleasant restaurant (live music 4 nights a week -Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday), Myanmar beer on tap and reasonably priced imported wine ...........all these explain why it is difficult to get a room at the Cherry on high days, holidays and big match...
