Really enjoyed our stay. A little outside the town between the town and the lake. Quiet area general ambience was relaxing and low key. The staff were very pleasant as we found throughout Myanmar. The individual rooms are made of wood backing onto pleasant gardens creating privacy. Our room had air conditioning although generally quite cool in the evenings. The...

This was our total splurge hotel for our 3 weeks in Myanmar. It was worth it. Well appointed rooms. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. And a relaxing place to sit and enjoy a glass of local whisky or rum after a day on the lake or biking or hiking in the hills.

We stayed here for two nights in mid November, the hotel is quite small and not all the staff have a good grasp of english but are all very lovely. The hotel is a short walk from the main strip in the town but there are also some restaurants scattered enroute. There is a local restaurant next door called Htoo...

Lovely rooms/bathroom. Would be 5 stars if it had air con, fridge and kettle. Our fan only seemed to work on full speed or nothing, which was a little noisy but fan needed as very hot. Staff were great and helped us arrange boat trip on the lake and taxi to the airport. Within walking distance of some great restaurants...

We, 2 girls, stayed 1 night here after our trip in Inle lake. The room was nice and comfortable. The small township was lovely. The staffs were warm and helpful. Especially a refresh during the breakfast time. Would definitely come back again.

I arrived at this boutique hotel and was delighted the moment I arrived. My room was lovely and the main area cosy. The staff were helpful and arranged for my sightseeing requirements, nothing being too much trouble. Thank you I had a wonderful stay.

This hotel is beautiful and very relaxing. Service was phenomenal. Staff were very attentive, helpful, and kind. No A/C so windows had to be open. Mosquito net was effective at keeping the bugs away. Pro tip: buy some incense to burn near you or your window. Added to the Zen vibe.

Had a very pleasant stay at La Maison Birmane mostly because the accommodation was in a little bungalow with an outdoor deck. The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet street, walking distance from the river, the local market and restaurants. The staff is extremely attentive to customer needs and nothing is missing from a comfort and amenities point of...

We booked for 3 nights but we could have easily stayed for another 3. La maison birmaine is such a great place to stay. We stayed in one of the lovely bungalows. It feels spacious and has a semi open bathroom which provides you with sufficient privacy. The room has a private deck and is decorated with thought. Lost of...
