The bedroom was not good, we had problems with the hot water - essencial in Atacama - but the responsible lady helped us. Somethimes she wasn't in a good mood. The wi fi was working properly. Sometimes we had to leave the hostel very early and she used leave some food for breakfast, this was very kind. She also lent... More

The hostel itself is ok. Confortable, simple and with a nice location. But the staff and reception are rude and don't care about the travellers. 3 out of 4 nights we had a cold shower and the women didn't care about it(the problem was easy to solve). They were always with a bad humored face, always asking for our money(never... More

Not being able to cross the Bolivian border I had to extend my stay in San Pedro de atacama and found a cheap bed in the dormitory of this hostel. Beds are ok but considering that the dorm is in the shade the whole day the place actually becomes a fridge at 4 pm ( i stayed in other hostels... More

No heating, no hot water (only luke warm), stone bread for breakfast and only so and so clean rooms makes it by far too expensive! We also missed a certain wellcoming kindness so we changed the place after only two nites. Kitchen is ok, but not well equipped.

The Hostal Intipara is situated in the center of San Pedro de Atacama. All sights of the city, such as the curch, the central square or the museum are within a small walking distance, as well as shops or tour agencies. The building seems to be an old private house. Like most buildings in San Pedro, it consists of a... More

We booked a double room here for two nights and extended to three, for $55 a night for the room. We booked through booking.com and therefore had breakfast included - which was good compared with the spartan breakfasts we were used to in Argentina. Coffee, juice, bread, yogurt, ham and cheese. On arrival we were told they didn't have a... More

We booked a double room ensuite (two single beds with shower) for a night - the room itself was clean and spartan. Nothing fancy which is fine but in hindsight I would have saved a bit of money and paid less to stay at a dorm. It was certainly more expensive than the places we stayed in Peru but its... More

You can rent a fancy apartment in the center of Santiago cheaper than a tiny double room in this hostel - however, this may actually be one of the more reasonable deals in San Pedro, because the village seems to be an expensive place to stay during summer. Location is excellent - just a five minute walk from the bus... More

Run by a lovely lady who doesn't speak a word of English but tries to communicate as best possible. Good location so quiet at night but as it's such a small area only a 5 minute walk into town. Basic cold breakfast as expected in South America. We booked a double with private bathroom. Our first ever hostel stop. In... More
