Visited there july 2014. Really nice located at the quiet end of the pedestrian old street. Nice chinese furniture with a bit hard bed but modern toilet and shower. We stayed there for 3 nights as a base to visit the huangshan mountain and the nearby villages. We skipped breakfast, too chinese for us. They do not speak too good...

I really enjoyed my stay in Tunxi and at the Tunxi Lodge. Miss Chris the manager speaks perfect English and I thought really went out of her way to help me. I told her I wanted to stay one week and she wrote up an itinerary for me wih a daily schedule for visiting Haungshan mountain, the beautiful villages, and...

The location was great because it was at the beginning of the Old Street with little tourists. The rooms are really nice furnished. We would recommand the Huangshan tea in the restaurant. WIFI was also best to use in the restaurant area. The mattress is hard like stone and the walls are thin like paper and you can hear every...

We traveled to Tunxi from Shanghai to explore Yellow Mountain. The hotel is located in the old part of town, which is perfect for walking and eating! We were there during New Year, so there were a lot of fireworks, as expected! The hotel was very nice and updated, with original furniture. That being said, the beds were very hard...

Tunxi Lodge is situated on a quieter end of Old Street, Tunxi. It couldn't be in a better location for shops, restaurants, bars, tea houses, and coffee shops. We really enjoyed wandering the street in the evening, having a nice dinner and drinks, and being able to walk to the hotel afterwards. It is also really close to the Xiu'an...

Situated in the Old street it is a quaint little hotel. It is a very chineese traditional hotel. Bathroom was rather compact and cramped the bed was a traditional chineese cot and very hard. Room was clean with old type furniture. There are not lifts but hotel is only two floors. Breakfast was amazing with a cooked breakfast waiting for...

After my worst night's sleep while travelling in Anhui Province I can only say staying here has diminished my sense of peace and being well- rested. Karaoke until nearly midnight. Beds so hard I may as well have just slept on the floor. Air-con that functions for 10 seconds and then stops, regardless of the setting. On top of that...

Dear Lal M, Thank you for your review and bringing in our attention to the problems you encountered. After looking into the matter, it appears that the "Karaoke" noise was from the bar across the road. We will seek help from the management office of the area and follow up this. For the bed and air-con problems, we have urged...

Spotless and welcoming hotel. Located just inside the old town which is perfect for tourists. The taxi from the airport (30RMB) will drop off outside in front off the Old Town Hotel - it's two doors down the paved street from there. Quite good English is spoken and there are hostels nearby who can help with buses to the mountain...
