I came here on a weekend trip solo. This inn was recommended by my travel agency, Wild China. It's a charming and delightful place right in the countryside outside of Hongcun Village, a Unesco World Heritage site. It used to be an oil factory. It's a large property that feels old and cozy. The rooms are rustic, comfortable and clean.... More

We stayed at the Bishan location; told the Xidi location is undergoing some renovation. Four people, three nights, two rooms. Our rooms were cute; bathroom was modern. All very clean. Building is historic. It was August and quite hot; the rooms were very comfortably air conditioned as was one public space. A large house, with lots of sitting rooms, each... More

This is an adorable little inn... lovely courtyard and a beautiful entry room. Authentic wooden structure and interesting layout. My room entry was a bit awkward with 8 steps leading down into it, but since they brought my bags upstairs and downstairs into the room for me, it wasn't bad. It was super cozy and cute, but I was there... More

return to the 13th century, Wonder ful wood inn. The comfort is OK but do not expect the same than a 5stars hotel. The beding, the cleanless are OK, the bathroom just OK. The welcome is warmly, luncnh or diner are prepared and cooked in front of you NICE EXPERIENCE if you can forget the 5 stars hotels

Pig's Inn has three locations, No1 is located at Hsi Di (西递) , a well known attraction in Yi Xian County (黟县), No2 and No3 are closer (5 min bike) at Bi Shan (碧山), where is about 10-15 miles away from Hsi Di or Hong Cun (宏村), another attraction in that area. Pig's Inns are more or less villa rather... More

We definitely suggest to stay in Pig s Inn N. 3 (the newest one), where the owners are splendid people who let you feel at home and are attentive to all your needs. Clean, large room with tatami where my 3 years old baby could enjoy the view on the paddy fields. It s a good option to escape from... More

This old Chinese house in old Xidi has been transformed into an inn. Actually it stayed as an old Chinese house with all its drawbacks. The place is cramped and gloomy as the only natural light comes from sky lights. Sound insulation is non existent and you hear the steps and conversations of your neighbors not to mention the persistent... More

Having just moved to Shanghai, we came for a weekend here with another couple, drove there on Friday night only to reach the place by 2:30 am and despite that the owner and his help were up and showed us to our rooms. A very nicely designed place with clean interiors, giving a nice and quite time. Amongst the things... More

We, a family of 4 spent 2 nights at this Inn, this is a very small place, basically a house with some en suites and common areas, very charming, very cold outside your A/C room (winter -6 degrees and the locals do not seem to use any heaters for themselves other than the warming boxes for their feet...) the breakfast...
