I have been in chaozhou since the last 10 years and it is the only where I can stay. Horrible rooms , dirty carpets, worst breakfast but still the best hotel in town. I recommend to not sleep in chaozhou at all but to go to shantou which is an hour drive.

We had the blast time stay with group of family. Room is neat and clean. Some of the stuff can speak English and they act promptly when we ask for extra water bottle. Sadly we got to spend only one night. It took about 5-10mins ride to night market.

been staying at this hotel for past 4/5 years to visit relatives for convenience. great location & plenty of eateries nearby, enjoyed most the early morning market walk about a km away. unusual 'hawkering' stalls that I don't find in my local market, interesting local food and merchandise. local cab & trishaw are easily available in front of the hotel... I came here with a client to visit factories, and I was following my client to book this hotel for 2 nights stay. I found lots of things unbelievable, first comes how can this hotel still exist? Cockroaches in the room, even crawling on the bed! Bathroom half flood after shower. First day breakfast I found food wasn't hot, even... More

There are two larger hotels in Chaozhou, the Baohua and the Chaozhou hotel. Unfortunately, both are pretty bad by western standards. I stayed at Baohua in January of 2013, in one of their executive suites. The room was still very dated and to some extent a little dirty. Two of the windows were cracked and there was mold throughout the... More

I've stayed at this hotel countless times over the past 4-5 years for business. I say business because I would never come to Chaozhou for pleasure as there's not much to see or do except motorcycles and crazy driving habits. The hotel is dirty though they have recently remodeled the rooms with new carpeting and wallpaper to give it a... More

Been here for family trip. Hotel looks old ans very smelly from cigarette. Come with mix feeling breakfast provided between Chinese and something else. Not recommend to stay with kid as the room carpet is very dirty and feeling wired walking bare foot.

There is 4 levels of karaoke but not disturbing.... More
