The hotel is clean and neat. The restaurant has fantastic food and drinks. You can get a latte or Margarita or something local. The restaurant is open until 9:30 pm and the staff is so incredibly friendly. I can't say enough good things about the Tea Cosy.

Yangshuo has changed a lot since my last visit, so I was overjoyed to have booked somewhere out of town for a few days away with my parents and girlfriend. We had a two room suit with a shared bathroom. Lovely bathroom and cozy beds with electric blankets for the chilly winter months - no central heating in Southern China...

We wish we could have spent an extra night or two at this lovely and charming place. As soon as you arrive, you feel that you are a part of the family that runs the hotel. You immediately feel as though you are home. The hotel is near the Yangshuo cooking school, at which we had supper and which we...

Upon my arrival at Tea Cozy, I found everyone's comments about the excellent service to ring true. I was greeted with a welcome glass of fresh orange juice, and was given my choice between two available rooms. The staff carried my bags for me up the steps once I selected a room on the top (5th floor). In the room...

You should set your expectations appropriately for this hotel. It is similar to a boutique bed and breakfast (although the breakfast isn't included in the room rate). My wife ... who is generally very discerning regarding the resorts/hotels where she stays and typically prefers starwoods or marriotts where we have status ... surprisingly said it was one of the best...

I can not compare this hotel with the modern style once because they are so different. Staying in this hotel like staying in a large nice old wealthy Chinese style farm house. It is cozy, clean and comfortable. Old style furniture mixed with modern bedding. The food was good consitering a small hotel kitchen could supply western, Chinese and local...
