clean hotel, friendly staff, decent breakfast with good array of selections but mostly Chinese food. It is located right next to Confucius Temple and Confucius Residence, so it is very convenient to visit these places as well as catching the daily 8:00 am rather spectacular show in front of the Temple gate. Bus stop to Confucius Forest is right around... More

This hotel is in the perfect location for all the sites within Qufu's walled city and everything is a short stroll away. When you arrive, you can be forgiven for thinking you've come to a very impressive museum rather than a hotel. The lobby and public areas are post modern, very spacious, beautifully designed and have artwork and objet of... More

The Queli is a perfectly fine 3 or 4 star hotel. It is super convenient to Confucius temple and the many stores and attractions in the old town. All are just outside the front door. The hotel itself was built in the early 1980's and reflects that time period. The halls go on and around, there are mysterious courtyards and... More

The hotel is next to the Confucius Temple. There is only a wall between them. The parking lot is very large, so it is not a problem to park except you arrive here very late. The environment is good. There is a small garden behind the hotel. Our room is on the second floor. Because we visit it during Spring... More

Stayed for a three-day team-building retreat with colleagues, which included a visit to the nearby Confucius Temple. My own second-floor room was fine (at least the hot water and Internet worked well), but the fixtures/carpet in some of the others seemed a bit tired. Common spaces were well lit with high ceilings and dark walls; the aesthetic seems geared more... More

Went with a group of friends for Confucius' 65th birthday celebrations. Could not be more convenient: an easy walk both to the Palace and the Temple. The hotel, however, is tired even exhausted! Torn filthy carpets, negligent housekeeping (beer cans under the bed) appalling breakfast, with the worst coffee ever, almost no English spoken. It could be so nice if... More

This hotel was clean and pretty and had competent and tranquil staff who spoke good English. Having stayed in many hotels in China over the years, I have to say that this was definitely one of the better ones. The shower was clean and worked well, the wifi was strong and the breakfast buffet was good. The beds were comfortable... More

I had visited Qufu last month with Thai Media team. This place was arranged for us by local government (tourism sector). Overall it was a pleasant stay in this place even though I didnt have time to use the private balcony (my room was in the first floor, hence I had got a small private balcony). I have to mention... Small hotel that was not air conditioned very well. Lots and lots of mosquitoes in everyone's room. Town is so small you can walk around and shop or eat. Interesting street market in the evening. Just remember your bug spray.

I stayed here with a large group for 2 nights. It is clean and quiet. As every place in China, smoking is allowed in the rooms as well as the restaurant. Be prepared. Breakfast is included; it is eastern style and quite good. There is no Wifi or internet. You can walk to the Temple of Confucius, and there are... More
