We visited this hotel it was definitely the right choice for us. Being a small family run place it had a lot of little extras. Because Kristina was so helpful and genuine. The breakfast was good plenty of choice local sessional fruit 😋 there is a little bar area not always manned but it is run on an honestly policy you took and left a note with your room number and what you had taken. The room was very nice simple good size clean and equipped with all you need the balcony was great to sit and relax after a day's exploring. They is a tv room with lots of books an iron and board, if you had forgotten enything there was towels sun lotion all sorts of things you could use. Kristina was full of helpful advice even book trips for us. There is a hill to and from the hotel no problem for us but was for some, there is a bus both up and down regularly and cheap. All in all I think it was fantastic and if we ever did return would definitely use again and I would recommend to Any of my friends and family.

Spent 8 days here and had a great time. Brilliantly run small hotel. Comfortable room with a balcony. Breakfast was good, sat outside by the small pool with other guests was really enjoyable, everyone was so friendly. Several areas to relax, honesty bar, ice maker and fridge at your disposal. 10 minute walk downhill to town and seafront. tough walk back up hill in the heat so we would usually get the bus, runs every 30 mins until late, 1.60 euro. Highly recommended, very well priced. Has many returning guests, always a good sign.

Absolutely loved staying in this lovely little villa style hotel , nothing was to much trouble at all, rooms where lovely with plenty of space and storage , immaculately clean, something for everyone for breakfast and plenty of it, cristina made us a packed breakfast up when she learned we were going out for the day early and would miss breakfast, honestly nothing is to Much trouble, was our wedding anniversary when we were there , and left a lovely bottle of wine in our room, such a lovely gesture, close to a small supermarket and lovely restaurant over the road , lovey food and lovely staff , 5 minutes from air port. It is under the flight path , but we knew this when we booked and did not put us off, it not even a problem , 5 mins to walk down the bank with stunning views, and lovely morning walks around the peninsula’s , nice bar with plenty of choice , nice relaxing place , highly recommend, Christina and dean are the perfect hosts .

What can we say... this hotel is amongst the best we have stayed in. Dean and Kristina are the most wonderful hosts and their generosity is endless. Amazing rooms, a plentiful breakfast and a pool area and sun terraces with a honesty bar makes this place a hidden gem. It's up the hill from the centre of Cavtat but it's no more than an 8 minute walk down (we timed it) and one stop away uphill on the bus (€1.60). Absolutely wonderful week and we will not hesitate to stay again.

Castelletto is a genuine hotel and the perfect place to stay when exploring Cavtat and Dubrovnik, both of which are just wonderful. Kristina and Dean make sure you are very well looked after in relaxed accommodation which is immaculately clean. Breakfast is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble and their advice ensured we had a fabulous stay and made the most of our five days. We enjoy travel and our stay at Castalletto has been an absolute highlight of our trips so far. Accommodation, place, people - fabulous. Highly recommend.

+1
The accommodation was exactly as expected. We wanted something in keeping with the location and more traditional. The room was larger than expected and balcony also, which included a table, chairs and loungers. The location is good, taking 15/20 minutes to walk to the main area and water front. A restaurant and shop can be found closer by if needed. The walk to the main area is steep however the views walking are worth this and not something that bothered us. A bus can be taken back up the incline if required, at a small charge. The property is located on a main bus route with the bus stop just minutes away. This is ideal for visiting Dubrovnik and the wonderful bays and towns along its way. Cavtat itself is a small, beautiful and charming town with a homely feel to it. There are some wonderful spots to swim and relax with a mix of open sunny areas and shaded too. Boats trips can booked easily from here, though the town, museums and local history is also worth looking into. You’ll also find a wealth of restaurants and some lovely little shops. The local walk around the peninsula is beautiful and there’s a delightful spot to watch the sunset. The family that run this accommodation is what makes it! Friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is amazing with a great selection of cold and cooked food. There is a bar which is stocked well, a Tv lounge, pool area (great for cooling off), and pretty areas to sit and relax. Kristina puts everything into making sure you feel welcome and in her own words ‘wants you to feel at home’. She even stayed with us whilst waiting for the taxi to say goodbye with a hug.

Castelletto, operated by Kristina and Dejan, is an excellent choice for any visitor to the Dubrovnik area of Croatia. It is quiet, low-key but comfortable, and very conveniently located 5 km from Dubrovnik airport and within easy walking distance from Cavtat. Dubronik town is easily reached by local bus, which stops just steps away from Castelletto, or by boat from Cavtat. Kristina and Dejan are ever helpful, providing personalized service and numerous courtesies and helpful tips for their guests. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful hotel! Totally worth it. So lovely family who owns and runs it. Service was beyond our expectation. I was a little bit suspicious about all the positive feedback I read before hand, but they really weren't exaggerating. The hotel and the staff met all our expectations and even more. The area is really near the airport, so there are planes landing and decending through out the day from early in the morning 'till late in the evening, but not at all at nights. And it does affect the whole village, not just this hotel. Some may find it disturbing, but I didn't mind so much. The hotel is up the hill, not so close to the beach. But many beaches have booths where you can change your swimming gear off and on if you like to go swimming. I didn't mind the walk from the beach to the hotel in the hot summer weather after swimming. Breakfast was really versitile. Hotel had complimentary maps of Cavtat and Dubrovnik. There were beachtowels and other things including good book selection (in many languages) available to take with you to the beach. Supermarket, a pizza style restaurant and a bus stop are really close. The rooms are not very modern or chic, they have a more rustic woody feel. But everything is totally functionable and we had everything we needed. I totally 100% recommend this hotel, if you want good service and a smaller warmer hotel enviroment.

Very nice small hotel on a hill. Nice hotel staff made us feel like a part of the family. We felt very welcome. Hotel is peaceful. No extra noices (if you don’t mind the sound of landing airplanes). Rooms have airconditioning and a balcony. Breakfast was good, it had everything we needed. Pool is small, but adequate for a nice dip. But to stay in this hotel you need to be ready to climb the hillside up and down to get to the village of Cavtat. Near hotel there is a shop and one restaurant and a bus stop for travelling for exemple to Dubrovnik. This place had everything we needed for our holiday and we hope to visit this hotel again.
