Nice apartment with a well equipped kitchen. Hosts were very friendly. Location was ok, enjoyable walk to the town centre took 10mins via a supermarket and a few restaurants but there is a set of steps to contend with.

We enjoyed our stay but both woke up with sore backs as the beds are pretty hard. The owners are warm and welcoming and speak perfect English. You can reach it easily by walking round the coast and then up a street (after the football pitch), then up a flight of stone steps. It's 20mins to the centre and a...

Elisa and her husband have set up a great little place to stay in Hvar. It is a 10 minute walk uphill from the town, the port and the beach (as most places seem to be). There are nice areas to sit and have a drink or have some food if your room has a kitchen. Everything was made very...

This apartment is so perfect, the owners are the loveliest people you'll ever meet who went above and beyond to ensure we were happy, the apartment itself was so cosy and clean with everything you need! It is very close to the buzzy centre, and also very close to the nearest beach which is lovely! This apartment has such a...

Amazing view from balcony, good location, 10 minute walk to the centre of town. Eliza the owner was very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay! Unfortunately we did not realise before arrival that there was no aircon in the room and staying in mid July we found it very uncomfortable when in the room and at night time. We were...

Stayed here for five nights in August. We booked a studio with balcony which was very clean, bed was quite comfy so we could get a good night sleep. Kitchen was also OK, there is everything you need to cook basic meals. Location is quite calm, no loud music and such as it's about 10-15 min walk to city centre....

Firstly, it took us a while to find and we ended up having to ring to find our way! If you come the most direct way there's about 80 steps to tackle before you reach the place. We knew we had an attic room so were not expecting anything amazing, but after 4 nights there we were getting fed up...

Thank you for your review. Concerning the directions to our house: the position of our street on Google Maps is wrong. I wrote to Google to signal the mistake but nothing has been done. Concerning the steps: the whole city of Hvar is built on hills so, except for the houses situated first row to the sea, you will mostly...

The view is as the photo shows, but that's all we got. The room was clean and basic, had no window and right beside a public area, where people came back at 2:30am. There is no sound insulation. We can hear every noise from the street, people talking and neighbouring guests taking shower at 3am. The owners were nice, letting...

Even so, thank you for your review. The room you have rented doesn't have a normal window but a "french window" (glass door + shutter) and the kitchen as well. These apertures are much better than a basic window. Although our area is normally quiet, it is very difficult to fight against some noisy people who do not respect other...

Stayed at Casa Di Elisa for three nights. The Good: -Clean room -Friendly owners who are nice to chat with (dutch/french multilingual couple) -Location is excellent, 10min walking distance to Hvar City Center -Since our room was falsly advertised on booking.com (misleading pictures, see description below) we immediately reported this to the owners upon arrival and were able to work...

Even so, thank you for your review. I would first give more details about our "compromise". The guests have booked weeks in advance a long stay of 12 days in the peak season (14-26.07). Upon arrival, they decided to cancel the whole stay, arguing that the studio was too dark. We answered that they could do it but this was...

Really enjoyed staying in this little apartment - it has a separate kitchen and two balcony spaces with lovely views back over the town. The location is good - you are 15 minute walk from centre of old town, but it's a lovely walk along the water - there are also osmosis nice little restaurants just down the hill as...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
La Casa di Elisa, the former "Villa Pranic", is situated in the area Križna Luka of Hvar city, 5 minutes walk to the sea and 10 minutes to the historical centre. She offers 10 studios 3*, six of them with a sea view, one 4 persons apartment and two rooms, all of them with en-suite bathroom, WC and satellite TV. The garden invites to relaxation under the shadow of the big fig tree or to sun bathing. We, Jean-Claude and Lise, a french-dutch couple, are literally fallen in love with this dalmatian island which is said to belong to the ten most beautiful islands in the world. After several stays, we finally decided to buy this villa and to change it into a guest house. You will certainly have a pleasant stay in la Casa di Elisa! ... more   less
