I don't know why anyone would voluntarily go to this island. The restaurant was only ok and not reasonable the service was marginal and the beach was not a great beach. I've never been so disappointed in a excursion. Maybe if I had a boat and was just cruising around the Adriatic and needed to use the restroom room I... More

We were upgraded to the blue villa on arrival and with their own local restaurant and beach within less than a stones throw, we had everything you would need for a relaxing break. The staff were friendly. The array of restaurants gave a wide choice but with fish the speciality. We hired a boat to explore the island and there... More

Well equipped marina, can get crowded but still quite pleasant. All u need is there (bara, restautants, market and showers/toilet). Convenient water taxis to Hvar (15 minute ride) and water clean enough to take a dive off the boat.

Spent a day lounging on this islet off Hvar itself. Was grest for swimming. Very clear water. The restaurant by the beach was equally fantastic and the goid was brilliant. Not enough sun beds though do they up sell and offer thd cubicles.

Stayed a weekend in Palmizana - the hotel is family owned and allowed for a great weekend. Despite the rainy weather on one of the days the islands nature and scenic views allow you to escape the hustle and bustle of a big city. The sea was fantastic - very clear and clean. The cafe's next to the beach also... More

I've just come back from a 4 night stay in the violet bungalow . They are very helpful and picked us up in a speedboat from Hvar , a great way to arrive. The resort has lovely gardens and lots of creative touches are dotted around making it a lovely environment to kick back and relax. We were there in... More

Take a walk over to the other side of the island (you will needs water & hats) we had a wonderful simple meal octopus salad and an aubergine dish-gorgeous, water was clear, great for snorkelling. Wonderful gardens. Fantastic food, wonderful friendly staff who couldn't do enough... More

The restaurant is situated on a small hill , about a 200 m walk above the beach. The location is nice , with a charming view of the bay. If you are on a group excursion, be careful since the operators are likely to have an " understanding " with the restaurant . The menu prices are reasonable but the... More

We absolutely adored our day trip to the island of Palmizana. Located a short sea taxi away from Hvar town harbour (costing 60k return per person), the resort is located in a bay perfect to enjoy the warm waters for swimming. There were loungers available to rent on the sandy / pebble beach for 50k, with plenty of bars and... More

The location is idyllic, surrounded by beautiful flora and interesting artworks, with a view over a picturesque bay. It's a fun way to arrive - picked up by a little speedboat from Hvar harbour then, at the other end, packed into a jeep and driven a few hundred yards up the hill then down an impossibly narrow path by an...
