Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The room is spacious and perfect for four, with a spacious living space and balcony on the upper floor. The room and property is beautifully and uniquely designed and decorated, and the location is perfect too! We loved that a buggy picked us up from the city as only limited cars are allowed in. We stayed in room 11, which was on the third floor. The stairways were narrow with rather steep steps - and we were extremely grateful to the staff who helped us bring our luggages up to our rooms. Thank you, The Melegran Team for making our stay a perfect one!

Wonderful stay …staff was incredible . Wish every place I stayed could be like the Melegran . Hats off the the decorators . The breakfast was a treat each morning …especially the breakfast girl . They pick you up in a cart to take your luggage up the cobblestone street …the nicest girl ( and informative ) took care of us . Keep up the good work.

Amazing experience from beginning to the end, great service with the luggage cart pickup, friendly local staff and in particular Ana! Gave several of her recommendations a try, and oh was it worth it! Also, rooms are uniquely made and sorted to charm you from the first sight - a work well done I have to say. Would come again for sure!

We loved staying at this hotel. Our room was beautifully appointed, with a very comfortable king bed. The shower was excellent, with high quality shampoo & conditioner, and fabulous fluffy towels. Breakfast was outstanding with lots of delicious choices, fresh orange juice and great coffee. The location in the old town was perfect, close to shops, restaurants and the sea. Incredible service, with friendly and efficient staff.

Gábor Noé wrote a review Sept 2023

Recently I stayed with my partner at The Melegran, and we had a fantastic experience. The location first seemed too central, but when we walked around Rovinj we realized it's ideal to stay in the old town. The room (13) in an annex building was quiet, we could sleep very well. Noises could only be heard from the room next door once. The quality of the room, the bed, the bathroom are all high, decorated with good taste. The staff is amazing, very helpful and their answer was always yes, making requests and changes easier. The buffet breakfast is served in a nearby restaurant until 12 (!) with a generous opening time also for those who like to stay in bed late. Rich breakfast on a lovely terrace of the neighorhood. The parking is about a 6-8 minute walk from the hotel, the arrival and the departure is assisted by a bellboy who picks you up with a buggy and helps with the luggage. Would definitely go back again, both to Rovinj and The Melegran.

Amazing location, you’re in the middle of charming old town but on a side street so not noisy at all (we stayed in #12, I see previous reviews about noise in that unit but not sure what people are talking about, it’s very calm). You’re also a five minute walk directly to the Adriatic Sea where there is a space for swimming, right underneath the Euphemia church. We parked and the hotel arranged shuttle pickup was super easy to and fro. The service was great overall the decor of the rooms is really modern and tasteful. The rooms are a little small but it’s to be expected, and they laid them out really smart (for context my husband is 6’3 and he felt totally fine). 10/10 recommend and would stay here again if in the area!
