A historic building in a cobblestone street leading to the church of St Euphemia and steps away from Rovinj's main square has been carefully renovated and transformed into a charming small hotel, where traditional features are combined with up to date facilities to ensure a unique and comfortable stay. The seamless blend of tradition and modernity is accented throughout the hotel, which boasts finely restored antique furniture, centuries old stone walls and exposed beams, as well as wi fi and air conditioning. Sumptuous breakfast is served on the shaded patio behind the hotel and in the stone-paved reception and lounge area; at night this turns into a lounge bar where guests can have a quick drink or sample wines from our small but well-stocked wine cellar and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Our 23 standard rooms, three family rooms and one suite are decorated in tranquil earthy tones, with elegant wrought iron beds, yet each is one of a kind, with hand-picked antique wardrobes and dressers. All rooms have modern en suite bathrooms with bathtubs or showers, air-conditioning and free wi fi.

We stayed at Hotel Angelo d'Oro for 4 nights in September 2022 and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We arrived to Rovinj via ferry from Venice and were picked up from the ferry terminal in a golf buggy for a short ride back to the hotel. We were warmly greeted by Adriano at Reception who set the benchmark for the exceptional care and help that we experienced during our entire stay by all the staff at Reception. The Reception team answered all our questions with thoughtfulness, and looked up information for us so we could catch local buses to various towns, they booked us into restaurants and went above and beyond with all our queries. Morana was particularly helpful too and clearly loves helping guests.
Our room on the top floor and overlooking the water was spacious, well furnished and the bathroom was refreshed daily including mopping of the bathroom floor each day. The Oliva del Mediterraneo toiletries offered were the nicest we experienced during our time in Croatia (staying at 4 other places).
The location in old town was perfect for enjoying the old town and was a simple walk to the bus station, boats and markets. The hotel has produced a detailed map including useful restaurant recommendations.
The breakfast buffet had a decadent range with lots of different meat, fish, cheese, bread, cereal, salad and fruit options, and desserts. They have a delightful courtyard to enjoy breakfast too.
We were extremely impressed by the professionalism but also warm and personable staff - Hotel Angelo d'Oro was our favourite place we stayed at in Croatia.

This hotel is in the perfect location within the heart of the old town of Rovinj. The bed and room were very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and the service transporting us from the parking lot to the hotel by golf cart was excellent, punctual, and convenient.

The only downside was the breakfast service. We were there on a busy weekend and there were only 2 people working the breakfast service. Coffee was made to order (which was nice) but it took a very long time. Coffee and breakfast were great but slow.

We spent three days at the hotel. We were welcomed by a very nice receptionist, who picked us up a the hotels private parking. the hotel is situated in the old part of Rovinj, it is very tasteful decorated. We stayed in the top room on the forth floor with sea-view- The hotel offers a very nice breakfast buffet. The team is great, they try to help at all times, finding excursions, their restaurant recommendations were excellent. We shall come again!

What a special hotel this is! From the moment we were picked up (by Adriano) at the small parking lot nearby, we knew we were in for something unique and personal. Upon arrival, Adriano carried our (not light!) bags up to the top floor for us! Our room was clean, quiet and with a lovely view of the nearby church tower. On our floor we had a lovely shared terrace facing the bay that we took advantage of a few evenings! Breakfasts were heavenly and the staff who assisted for those was lovely - even giving us a few items to take with us when they learned we were leaving too early for the breakfast the next day! (The front desk also had sandwiches prepared for us to take when we had to leave before breakfast! SO nice!).

The laundry service was great - but be sure you turn it in before 8:30am. that was a little unclear but they still make it work when I dropped ours off at 9am!

When we checked out, the front desk staff gave us a bottle of their privately made olive oil too! We brought it back to the US and can't wait to serve it to friends here as a special treat.

Honestly cannot recommend this property enough. Thank you to the staff for making it such a wonderful stay!

What a wonderful discovery! We stayed for two nights in the Trevisol Apartment (separate from the hotel by a 15-minute walk), in a third-floor room with a view of the sea and Santa Katarina island. The apartment was comfortable and furnished with everything we might need; it was quiet and centrally located, with lots of restaurants and boat tours just a short stroll away. The only (very minor) drawback was that it lacked a lift, and after full days of walking the hilly streets it was challenging to face an additional 60 or so stairs to our third floor apartment.

The hotel maintains a separate parking lot, and offers free shuttle service between the lot and the hotel properties. The driver met us promptly upon our arrival and ferried us to the apartment, offering a good tour of Rovinj in the process. On the day of our departure the shuttle showed up promptly at the scheduled time to return us to our car.

This was a wonderful base from which to explore the lovely town of Rovinj. I highly recommend it for privacy, value, and location. It's a gem!

Located in the heart of the Old Town. A historical and small modern hotel with generous rooms, very comfortable bed and pillows, with modern bathrooms, a great breakfast and friendly staff. We were a family of 7 and had 3 rooms: one family room which comfortably had 4 adults with space to spare and two comfort double rooms, both generous in size. Would highly recommend the hotel, it is a short walk to the ocean and restaurants, beautiful cobblestone street, friendly staff, car parking available off site with a free shuttle service from the car park to the hotel. If we're back in Rovinj we will definitely be staying at Hotel Angelo d'Oro

Historical and modern hotel with very nice rooms and great terraces and friendly staff in the city of Rovinj. Only 2 minutes to go to the sea and all the Restaurants. You can take place on the terraces without ordering a drink and just bring your own food.

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel and its staff. We arrived late and Morana helped us into our room. The room was very spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. There is a lovely courtyard on the second floor that I wish we had more time to spend there. The breakfast was very nice. The hotel is conveniently located amongst the streets in the harbor and just has a lovely view from any walk around the hotel. The best part of this hotel was the staff, they are extremely helpful and I would go back just to stay at the hotel.

Top notch service in the heart of Old Town just steps from the market. Staff goes above and beyond to meet your needs. Rooms are comfortable and there's a nice outdoor area to enjoy a book if you're more inclined to relaxing.

This historic hotel in the heart of the old town is the essence of a boutique hotel - and romantic - just the kind of experience you want when visiting Rovinj. I just wished we'd tried the "Secret Garden" but were too tired from walking around.
Note - there is NO elevator. The room at the top is terrific but it's 4 flights of stairs.
Terrific Staff. Good breakfast.
