We really enjoyed our stay at Pension Maltar and would highly recommend it. The room was comfortable, everyone was friendly, and the breakfast extensive and delicious. Its location is great and old town Varaždin is only a few minutes away. It's also within walking distance of the bus and train station.

I know about this place a few years but this was my first time there. I was with my family. We stayed there just one night. It is nice place and it is very popular with tourists. Staff is nice and friendly. Prices are not to high. One night for four people with breakfast costs about 100€. I highly recommend...

This was a very cute little B&B, just a short stroll from the lovely historic area of Varazdin. A lovely change from corporate theme hotels, Pansion Maltar was warm and inviting. I suspect that each room in this traditional inn is very different in size and character. Our room was near the roof, with sloped ceilings, odd shaped, and a...

I came to Varazdin for a performance during the Baroque Evenings Festival and to explore this lovely town, as well as to spend a day driving around Medimurje on the Wine Road. Pansion Maltar made for a great home base for a couple nights. It was just a couple blocks to walk to the theater and a perfect location for...

After a dreadful night at the hotel across the road we came here. How wonderful - we met lovely helpful people and were given a beautiful room. Thank you for making our stay in Varazdin a good memory. The owner and all the staff that worked here were just so friendly and helpful.

We stayed overnight on a long trip and this was a haven. We were greeted with a smile and a glass of fruit juice, the room was warm and cosy and clean, everything worked. The parking was secure and we could see our car from the room. Breakfast was very good with a wide range available and the breakfast chef...

This Pansion was very well located close to the old town, opposite a supermarket. It is spotlessly clean, has comfortable beds, very friendly staff and a delicious breakfast. A pleasant spot under umbrellas to sit and enjoy your lunch or a drink.

675rob is spot on. The Maltar is dated and quite old-fashioned inside, but it was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. Free parking in the car park at the rear. It's easy to walk to the old town for both the sights and the dining. The breakfast the following morning was made to order, which was a nice...
