Stayed here for 2 nights and was very pleased with the price we paid for a city centre hotel. $19 per night with tax. Wifi was not great and tv was broken but for sleep quality this place was perfect and also the room had air conditioning. Food is not included but is available at a good price. Breakfast is...

They need to get their cleaning lady a walkie talkie, because starting right before 7am every time a guest would check out, the desk clerk would say across the P.A. (yes, seriously!) "Dolores, room ____ " I came to get away from stress at home in order to get a full night's sleep and maybe sleep in for a change....

This very popular older hotel with marble floors provides clean, spacious, basic rooms, in an excellent location in downtown Guayaquil. Rooms have fans or air-conditioners, flat screen televisions ( note a deposit is required for the remote control ) and slow wi-fi service is available. For tourists note the showers do not have hot water but with the searing temperatures...

My trip wasn't planned but I needed to stay in Guayaquil for one night, I arrived to the 9th October avenue and checked this hotel. Price is equal to quality, it is very comfortable, I found it had a very good tv, which worked perfectly after a long day around the city. Is very close to the Malecon (one of...

We passed through Quito on our way from Galapagos to Amazon. Only stayed here for less than 24 hours. Good double bed, hot water and WiFi. Plaza Fock is only 10 minute walk for places to eat. Far enough from Plaza Fock to be quiet. Its's in a safe area, Very good deal for the $US 29.50 we paid.

This hotel is clean, has wifi and a/c. It is not new or fancy and doesn't have hot water, but I didn't find hot water necessary in the stifling heat of Guayaquil. Just turn off the a/c a few minutes before you shower; turn it back on when you get out. Decent inexpensive restaurant on site -meals were $2-3. The...

The rooms here are fairly comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly. There's nothing exceptional about it, but being on the city's main avenue it's in a very good location. Rooms with either a fan or air-con are available. Breakfast isn't included, but it's pretty cheap.

So i get here a little before midnight to crash. Luggage guy helped with my stuff and got me to the receptionist. She did not seem to be in good spirits, maybe it was the lateness of my arrival. The stay was $18.40 american,so I gave her a 20, i get a dollar and 60 of their cents back. I...

The best feature about this hotel is the location. Do not expect nice rooms. Rooms are small and clean. There is cableTV. There is no hot water. Ladies at the reception are not that polite, I believe the reason for their bad temper is the amount of people comming and going and asking for information. Also, the people in the...
