We had one of the corner rooms in the pictures. The beds were very low and incredibly hard. Had to ask for a second towel ... low quality. The internet was impossible to use although there were lots of bars available ... very slow and would kick us off before getting through loading one web page. We saw other complaints...

Las Penas is a hill at the end of the Malecon in Guayaquil, with colorful homes going up the hill's 444 steps, with a light house on top. It has the best views in Guayaquil, as well As many shops, restaurants, bars and penas/dance clubs, that you pass as you climb the winding steps. I loved the walk, but it...

Large room, central location near shopping, restaurants, parks and the Malacon along the water. The good but simple included breakfast was in a very nice restaurant next door. The staff were friendly and helpful. The main problem was with the air conditioner - it was either on, and quite cool, or off, making the room very stuffy. There was no...

Its a simpel hotel with large rooms and small bathrooms. There is free WiFI but its very slow. At the front desk friendly and helpfull people. Breakfast is nextdoor and we asked for good (espresso) coffee and they didn't charge extra for this (what I would accept if they would) location is good right next to the main shopping street....

I had two experiences of dishonesty in two days. One, the front desk clerk told me $4 for laundry, I was charged $16. At the California restaurant next door, which is affiliated, I had a $5 tip attached to an $8 bill, which I caught. The waiter apologise d and gave me back $5 cash. Dishonesty. I speak Spanish, do...

Dear customer, We really appreciate your comments, because they help us to improve our processes and correct them. I have particularly researched your case with our staff, in the different departments, like: front desk, laundry and the restaurant and it has been clear that it was a misunderstood because of the languages barriers, because the laundry service that you thought...

Is it the best hotel in town? Absolutely not. The "hot water" is more of "room temperature" water (maybe a little on the cold side). The toilet was broken, but they took care of it as soon as I reported it. I also called for extra towels and laundry service, and they acted quickly. The lady that cleans the rooms...

We spent 2 nights at this hotel. It is a bit old and faded. but the room was very clean, there was good air conditioning, good hot water, good location and all the staff were fantastic. We appreciated them sorting out bus options for us to travel up the coast as well.

This place does exactly what it says on the tin (except that it isn't in the Las Penas neighborhood!). It's location is great - in the middle of downtown and close to the waterfront. The breakfast next door is great (the cafe is great for lunch too). THe staff are nice and helpful. Ask for a corner room!

This hotel was located a few blocks from the waterfront. The rooms were clean and large and a fine place to sleep. The entryway was a little hard to find and the lobby is very small, almost like a youth hostel over a hotel. The bathrooms were tiny and the shower stall extremely small. Breakfast was in the restaurant next...
