Hacienda Pinsaqui is a beautiful property located in the Imbabura region near Otavalo. This gorgeous historic property was converted into a hotel and restaurant. The architecture and its surroundings are just exquisite. When I was there, there was a group of local musicians playing traditional Andean music. Just magical. I wouldn't mind staying here longer. The place invites to pure...

The haciënda brought us back in history. Allthough everything necessary was present in the room (shower/electricity). We had a big room with a fireplace and a lot of blankets but no heating. The blankets seemed to be necessary in the morning. It was a small but decent breakfast in a room with a big fireplace which was warming the room....

My wife and I were only here for one night, but this hotel is well worth a visit. The rooms are enormous. Truly. Largest hotel room I've ever stayed in. The food is very good and the grounds are pretty. The building itself is quite historical, and there are amazing photos and paintings decorating the house to give you some...

Returning from our cruise in Galápagos, my husband and I stayed here for only one night, unfortunately. The grounds and buildings are heartbreakingly lovely--we enjoyed walking around the property with the scent of flowers and citrus and the sound of water fountains. Took so many photographs of this beautiful spot, both outdoors and inside. The young owner and his family...

We were made so welcome by the family and staff that run this hotel. The decoration is wonderful and you can just feel the history of the place as you walk around the grounds and stay in the really comfortable rooms. It was rather chilly at night but once they knew we needed warmth, we had extra blankets, a radiator...

As part of the G Adventures Group Tour a group of eight of us stayed in the historic Hacienda Pinsaqui near Otavalo. Loved the peaceful countryside setting. The service and food were excellent. In the evening we were thrilled to hear a local group of skilled musicians 'Waukis' who played folkloric flute ballads like "Somos Ecuador" "La Casa Esta Muy...

Did not stay here but Enjoyed 2 lunches at this restaurant in an old hacienda. Both were excellent, in particular some local dishes: potato soup with avocado and cheese; ceviche; grilled trout; pork cut up in small pieces served in a sauce that gives it a reddish color. Very good service too.

Peaceful romantic rambling hacienda with very spacious bedrooms and functional ensuites. The breakfast room was particularly stunning. We found the service excellent, the food good but a limited menu. We ate out in Otavalo our 2nd night - easy to get a taxi, or we took the bus. Scores top for a taste of history and bygone splendours, not so...

We wanted to experience one of the traditional haciendas in the Otavalo area. Hotel Pinasqui came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. We were assigned a 3 level room. Entering on the level with a King sized bed, we had a bathroom below, and a loft bedroom, with fireplace above. The room was delightful. The fireplace was lit for...
