Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Booked this hotel as it was very cheap and could walk from my current hotel in January 2023. Walked passed it into the Union Jack pub which shows all sport and serves very good food all day and obviously cold beers. Eventually checked in and was taken to the room. The concierge plugged in the hdmi lead to the large tv. The room was large, clean, big fridge, balcony was in the sun overlooking the pool. Went back down to pool bar where I could get coldish bottled beer. The young bar man was very helpful and even brought me fruit. After a few beers, went back to the room hoping the shower is good. It was ok, and having read bad reviews I accepted ok rather than tinker and make it bad instead of good. Really impressed so far, ready for food. The selection was unlike I had previously encountered, however the bread rolls were the best I had in Egypt. I was one of the first in and walked past the one try of cakes, however, when I went up for desert the plate was cleared despite there only being a dozen people in the restaurant. There were soft drinks available and you could make yourself t or coffee, using the same spoon as everyone else, no beer or wine seemed to be available. The only bar I found after food was the lobby bar and I didn’t get on with the manager. He did not seem happy that all I wanted to drink was cold beer and not the gin, whiskey and vodka he wanted me to. Don’t think there was a lobby tv but didn’t ask as I found English communication a struggle and was intended to go to the Union Jack bar to watch the sport. Very friendly bar, beer reasonable and totally recommend it. Did not try the beach shuttle bus as the notice said, first return in afternoon and I hoped to come back earlier. Breakfast included freshly cooked omelette with plenty of the nice bread rolls. So this was my 7th hotel and as an all inclusive, I would probably give it a miss. The hotel may have been run down but they are working on improvements and as such I have booked this hotel bed and breakfast for my next trip in March. I have requested the same room and if nothing has changed I will probably book for 2 weeks, frequenting the Union Jack for dinner and sport. The pool slides were open and there is also an animation team playing loud music. Overall, i would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying bed and breakfast as the money you save can be spent on meals in the Union Jack and other places you enjoy

Very poor hotel and very expensive compared to facilities and services offered. Does not deserves 4 stars rating at all!! Breakfast buffet is so humble for such hotel with 4 star rating. No value for money what so ever and very expensive for nothing.

A very bad experience that I do not wish to repeat. The lobby is hot and there is no air conditioner. I received the room without electricity and waited more than an hour for the electrician to come and fix the fault. The food is bad and repetitive. We stand in a long line to get a piece of poorly grilled chicken. Dishes and spoons are not available. The sea is very bad. For four days, the hotel administration did not hold a party, as happens in other hotels
I do not recommend staying there at all

hotel is decent, rooms nice and pool area is good.
the bars are decent but don’t have a lot of choice of drinks and they are all served in small cups.
on the other hand the food is horrible and barely edible but there is a very good english bar that serves english food for good prices (less than £5 for a meal) less then a minute walk from the hotel called the union jack. highly recommend this cafe/bar if your in the area.
wouldn’t recommend going all inclusive to the hotel if you don’t mind buying food for yourself everyday as the food nearby is a lot higher quality and tastes a lot better

Only one good thing I can say about this hotel is only staff and good food.

Mr. Mahmoud (hotel director) tried to stop us in this hotel and I did it only because it is near to Nabq Panorama Beach where is Kitespot. And small swimming area for tourists. If you are there go to Falcon Kite School.

We spent all days doing kitesurfing or scuba diving. And came back only to sleep. That's why we decided to stay.

First few minutes was like a joke. Mr Mustafa from reception tried to tell us about hotel in Russian even after I told him that I am from Poland and don't speak Russian. He is very nice guy but don't know English ;(
Then we walked to our 1st room and it was nightmare. You can see on pictures how dirty and old is this hotel.
Then we went to 2sd room which was little bit better but still dirty.
Then we were speaking with gently Mr. Mahmoud who is very nice and openminded person. After night, dinner and breakfast we decided to stay longer just because of localization.
Hotel is very old and needs renovation on rooms, outside, inside in lobby, in kitchen, everywhere!
I definitely do not recommend this hotel till renovation.

We were the only English people in the hotel and the rest of the guests were Russians. I was spat at and shouted at by a Russian man and felt intimidated and uncomfortable all week.
The food at this hotel was awful. Clearly just catering for the Russians. Nothing that I would eat so after the first day or two we didn’t bother.
The alcohol was also abysmal! They ran out of beer every ten mins and wouldn’t have any for hours.
There was no wine at all and the vodka was not vodka. It tasted awful.
The staff were mostly lovely although the cleaning in the rooms is rubbish. My feet were constantly black from walking on the floor in the room.
The pool was freezing cold although maybe in summer that’s not the case but the temp was about 27 degrees when we went and the pool was ice.
Wouldn’t go bk to this hotel if I was paid to.

Our trip was very nice, as we enjoyed the hotel activities, including animation darts, stretching, aqua gym, and also a water pool, including a manager in the evening. I would like to thank Ahmed El-Senosy and all the animation staff, as well as all the hotel workers. The food is beautiful and the rooms are wonderful. We will come back again. Greetings to you.
