We came to zoura for 10 nights all inclusive, we only ate in the hotel twice as the food was horrendous, the cutlery was always dirty and had old food stuck to it, we would use ou glasses of water to clean our cutlery!
We feel the hotel was falsely advertised to us as there was no entertainment, no buffet, no spa, no salon. We got ripped of by the hotel for cabs, DO NOT use their cab service we found a nice taxi man Mohammed who charged us quarter the hotels price!
The hotel is in the middle of no where and we were often greeted with dead dogs outside where locals or police killed them and dumped them opposite our hotel.
We had only spoken to our rep for 10 minutes when we arrived, we did not see him at all after that, so when it came to find out when we were getting picked up from our hotel to go back to airport (as there was no information in reception ) we asked the receptionist who said we could use his personal phone to call the rep but for a charge!
There was also someone in the hotel knocking on our door at 4 in the morning really loudly them running away every night.. It was the second to last night I heard scuffling outside our door and saw the man who would tidy our rooms run past our door bang on their door then run the other way!!
Worst hotel I have ever ever been too I a kicking myself I didn't check trip advisor before booking which I Normally do but it was a spur of the moment thing... Never again.

We even choose to stay at a slightly more expensive hotel so we wouldn't have too worry about food, but all of our spending money went on eating out!

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!

The Zouara is a great hotel and worth every penny.

I'll start with the room amazingly spacious great views, air conditioned (free) plenty of facilities, kept very clean.

The food is excellent. A buffet style with dishes to accompany every pallet. I never had a bad meal.

There is plently to do in the hotel. A large pool with games later in the the day. A free gym, sauna. On site hair dresser and massuse. Small shops on site for general needs and souveniers.

The staff are great very warm and friendly.

I know this all sound amazing however bare caution.

The hotel mostly accomodates Italilans there are very few English people. I was the only English person there for the first 3 days of my stay.

Beacuse of the previous comment there is very little in the way of evening entertainment (and mostly in Italian) so you'll have to go to the main town.

The hotel really is out in the sticks the main town (night life) is a £15 return taxi fare. There is a free shuttle bus during the day to the beach, where there are some shops stalls, hotels etc. (there are plenty of developments going up in the area, (the hotel is a little before it's time, in 2 years you won't need to got to the main town).

I advise the snorkelling!! and the qaud biking in the mountians!!!!!

If your wanting to get away from it all, have a rexaling holiday with no hassle from idiots, read a book and get a tan then this is the hotel for you.

If you want to see the night life and go out for a few drinks on an evening then I advise staying somewhere closer to the main areas eg Naama bay.

Well...maybe I start with the good things first. The stuff at the "hotel" was friendly and at least it was quiet, that's all the good things I can say.
I would not recommend this hotel for anyone. The rooms were dirty and I had to use my flip flops when I took a shower. The water in the shower was mostly cold and the water pressure wasn't good...tip...tip...tip...
The food at the hotel was either tasteless or bad. In the morning when you went to the restaurant at 7.10 (breakfast at 7.00) you felt a bit like, "I'm sorry I came so early..."
the dinner was always the same and usually there were more stuff than guests. There were maybe aroud 15 guests in the hotel totally.
I have been to bad places but I would rank this to the worts top 5 I have been to.
It is far from the beach, around 2,4 km and you have to walk through a consrtuction site.
During the evening/night it's not fun to walk there.
The rooms didn't feel safe, because the locks on the doors were a bit old and used, so a child could break in.
During January it's a bit cold at night, and it wasn't fun when the heater didn't work.
The beds were clean but it started to hurt in the back after few nights, bad beds.
I did stay there 5 or 6 days before I moved to a bettere hotel, and felt much better after that.
Heard later that usually people stay there around 2-3 days before moving away.
But as everybody knows, you get wath you pay for. The hotel is cheap, maybe cheapest in the area. If you are ok with just something to eat and a bit dirty rooms with low budget this is the place, but if you want to enjoy your stay do not waste your money here!
Would not go there again.

we stayed 2 wks all inclusive. the rooms were cleaned ,clean sheets and towels provided every day. the food was not as bad as the others has said. for breakfast we had selection of cereals, fresh fruits, freshly baked rolls, bread, cookies, crossiant, and danish pasteries. selection of cooked breakfast and omelett and pancakes made to order. selection of fruit juices and tea coffee and hotmilk. for lunch, selection of salads, selections of freshly baked bread and rolls, hot soup, 4 -5 kinds of veg, 3-4 meat dishes,1 pasta dish and boiled pasta ready to make for individual taste and 5-6 types of sweets(lovely cakes, pasteries etc) plus 3 types of fresh fruits. dinner was basically same as lunch but meat and vegs and sweets were different. all meals were buffet basis. there was so much food that you were never felt hungry. the chefs were nice and if u asked them they would bend backward for you. the hotel is away from naama bay but local bus ( blue n white mini van ) cost only 30pence per person(3 egypt pound) hotel taxi charge £8.50 (85 egypt pounds)

I saved up for a year to take my daughter on holiday for her 21st. We'd paid extra for a balcony.....all rooms have balconies. We paid extra for shuttle to and from airport...we were kept waiting for 1.5hrs to do a 7 minute journey then we were given a bowl of filthy water with pasta pips sunk at the bottom and for every meal thereafter we were served mash, pasta and brown beans. The 'toast' was bread so stale it was hard with corners cut off which must've been mouldy then 2 boiled eggs were put before us which were immediately covered in flies. The all inclusive was a joke they didn't allow us more than 1 drink per half hr and this was froth not beer in a plastic beaker then to top it off the doctor rubbed himself off on my leg while rubbing in sunblock. This place should be burned to the ground not your hard-earned cash lining the fat managers pockets. Please do not go here I beg you.

arrived thursday about 7 pm was logging complaints with in an hour. After a long day , was looking forward to an evening meal ,we were shown a table which had a cloth on, well i can only assume some one earlier had given birth on it.The food was bloody awful ...we ate bread rolls for a day and a bit. *Hotel=run down and should be closed down,*Room = couldnt close patio doors, no safe, played a great game of find a plug socket (hidden behind a chair but only one)shower cold water and hanging off the wall,*Drinks= shot type glasses ,we were the only guess but they still ran out of beer *Pool=if you dont want your kids o r even yourself to come home with a broken leg or ankle keep clear, the gulley system round the pool is more dangerous than trying to cross the M25 in rush hour blind folded *staff= Well you cant tell who's working there or just hanging about none wear a uniform *Entertainment=none *surroundings= something like the first planet of the apes final scene run down and bombed buildings *Good points= i had to think hard about this, being the only guess it was quiet and the cleaner made things out of the towels ,Oh yeah the best thing of all was seeing Zouara in the rear view mirror as we left for Verginia sharm hotel a day latter after begging the holiday rep to get us out,

stayed for a month over the christmas period all inclusive -the hotel was dirty- the food was cold most days -catered mostly for italians -got the impression that they were not interested in uk guest - no entertainment at night only a belly dancer once a week -were asked to pay an extra £28 (British) for christmas eve gala dinner- the brits protested there was a meeting and they agreed on £15 with a disco in a tent in the grounds -if you didn't pay you had to have an ordinary meal in the tent and then you were asked to leave at nine so the disco could begin -the disco ended at 10-45pm christmas eve -the hotel is isolated with building work going on all around nearest supermarket is 20 mins walk away if you are fit -the shop owners in the hotel are very annoying every time you pass them be it once or ten times a day you are pestered - the pool could not be used it was so cold the so called gym had one manual treadmill that was not positioned properly- so you had to keep trying to compensate for the unevenness which gave you back ache -even when trying to relax at the pool the gym staff would come up even if you are sleeping take your hand and try to get you to go in and have a massage they can't seem to take no for an answer -we stopped sunbathing because of this -and sunbathing was the only enjoyment we were getting out of the holiday we tried to get and early flight home but couldn't never again to the zouara
