First of all, I'd like to say BIG thanks to Besho Namer from Nino bar. What a friendly guy with good drinks. Second, Michael from restaurant was amazing. I travel A LOT and haven't seen anyone as sincere, honest and down to earth as him. Unfortunately he left on our final day to get back to Cairo so I didn't have a proper chance to say goodbye. All that said, those two guys are the best and when visiting Sharm Grand Plaza, try to meet them. You will not regret!

About the hotel. Service from staff was nice, rooms were clean, towel art was fantastic and hotel territory is spectacular. Beach is nice and clean, reef is nearby for snorkeling.

Unfortunately...
Corals are mostly dead but still plenty of fish to see, food is okay but after a 3-4 days you'll get tired of the same menu over and over again (but massive respect for grilling corn and chicken on grill, that was delicious!) DO NOT use the ATM machine in the lobby or order TAXI via hotel, expensive and terrible service from taxi provider. Also I would not recommend the laundry service. They say that all the infomation needed is in your room, they tell you "don't worry my friend" and then charge you 25€ for cleaning a small bag of clothes and say "it's normal, you knew it". Well it isn't...

Adventure providers at the pool area are at first friendly, want to talk a lot, get to know you. They really don't take no for an anwser and they don't understand that you are on a vacation and want to chill. Then they become rude and when you say that you don't want their service they say "you be quiet, im talking now". They don't work for the hotel but they work on hotel grounds. Then we moved to the pool area infront of the hotel because they didn't go there often.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. Price for quality range is okay. I would visit again.

The person who served us delicious beverages is Besho Nemer. Very friendly, helpfull with great sense of humor person. Always with smile on his face he was bringing to us drinks. He also was taking care of cleanliness in his workplace. Besho makes sure guests don't miss anything. When you are in Sharm Grand Plaza don't forget to visit it.

We have stayed in the Sharm Grand Plaza for a week and can state we are very positive about it. Hotel is not the newest but very nice, room was spacious with a romantic sea view, cleaned every day, garden is green and big enough for evening walks around. Free internet available in lobby, restaurant and bar/pool area, which was more than enough to stay in touch with the world but in the same time relax from smartphones.
Food was tasty and always enough to choose from, very good soups, soft juicy beef, enough of vegetables, pasta station, omelette/gofri/pancakes stations, grilled meat/fish, nice selection of desserts. Everything replanished and well taken care of by staff. Hard working waiters are always friendly and welcoming and made our time in restaurant very pleasant.
Beach is mixed sand/stone, with a good capacity of sunbeds. Every day we were taken a good care from Mohamed Kassem who prepared our sunbeds and brought clean towels. Beach bar has a good selection of drinks, both alcoholic and nonalcoholic, we enjoyed a good strong coffee there, too. Bartenders were friendly and smiley. Special thanks comes to Besko Namer, very positive man making excelent colourful drinks. Along the beach there is amazing coral reef (diving from surface to around 10metres depth) with millions of fish, accessible by bridge. Sometimes later afternoon could occur a strong current along it so one has to be careful while swimming. Hotel has own diving centre, so we took introduction dive, which was fantastic experience for both of us. Diver instructor is again very positive and friendly. Pools and surrounding areas are always clean, variety of pool depths available for swimmers and nonswimmers, beds comfortable. Animatiom team doing constantly their best to entertain the guests. I took also SPA package with full body massage, and have to say that lovely lady performing the massage has golden hands, she knew exactly how to make a strong back massage I like.
Overall happiness, we both recommend the stay in Grand Plaza. Again a big THANK YOU for all hotel staff to make our stay so nice.

My husband and I visited Sharm this September and stayed at this hotel. We would like to thank everyone for there good service and to be very specific in our appreciation to the operation manager of the restaurant Mr. Mahmoud Abdel Fatah and his team for their kindness and service. Mr. Abdel Fatah demonstrated a great knowledge of directing the other workers with patience, kindness and quietness. He showed high level of ethics , professionalism and knowledge. His goal always is to satisfy the customers and to show the real , beautiful face of Egypt. Beside above Mr. Ahmed Saad, provided us with excellent service and was very helpful indeed and had us feel we are in between our family. Also, an exceptional service was provided by Mr. Ramy Awad outside the pool with dedicated attitude, service and kindness, ultimately, people were great here.

I would like to encourage the room service quality control to have a defined outline for cleaning to be as a standard rule and to make sure everything'' cleaning wise'' following high standards of safetey regulation.

As a health care provider, I found the restaurant was clean very well , yet the rooms needs more attention. I also appreciate the kitchen and staff team members that were showing great level of cleanliness, yet I disagree with having people wearing gloves while dealing with stove or barbecue as it's against safety regulations due to increase level of injuries and risk towards the team members themselves, people who work directly with preparing and touching food may wear gloves as necessary.

Room service - clean every day but regularly forget to do some of the daily things. For example, give one of the towels, top up with shampoo or toilet paper, or leave water.

Activities - although the hotel description states that all pools are open, jacuzzi is not working. It is written that the hotel has several restaurants, but only one of them operates.
We have been to many hotels, the food and its choices are below average. When you sit down at the lunch table, you probably won't have tools to eat, because they are placed very slowly, and used dishes are removed quite slowly

Evening activities take place in just an hour. then there is silence. the only activity on offer is to go to a night club for 20usd.

Animation team - the animation team must be as a single community. but here we noticed that the team leader kimo screams at his employee in front of all the customers. and we observed it more than once.
the animation team has to work very hard on their joint collaboration, but the customers are the ones who support them and we should not see such an attitude among them in public.

In general the rest was below average level of service, I will not say that I enjoyed it

Wows, what an experience! It was amazing.
The second you step out of the mini van, you’ll find a staff that is eager to serve and please. The staff genuine concern addressing your comfort is a class act on its own.
The house keeping staff was truly entertaining. Every day and for a whole week, he ( Mohammad) would make an interesting design with towels and lay them in the bed. It was cute and thoughtful.
The Restuarant staff ( Ahmad Saad & Tharwat) were amazing members of the dinning room staff and Tarik & Mohammad were pleasant in serving the food which was prepared by Chefs that cared. I have noticed the chefs in he food service areas making sure that all good and top notch.

The biggest surprise was when the door knocked and a staff member handed me a sealed envelope.
It was from the general manager of the hotel
( Mr.Hasssan Gamaly) wishing me “Happy Birthday” A couple of hours later the soon knocked again and ther was a staff member with a birthday cake made by there chef. It was amazing.
Thank you Mr. Hassan for going above and beyond your guests expectations.

All and all, the staff attitude of Sharm Grand resort is a reflection of the leadership and I salute you all.

Like many hotels in Egypt, Sharm Grand Plaza is not facing a full pack period: some blocks and waterpools are closed, the beach is half deserted (which for me was a great benefit - no crowds around you shouting and buzzing to each other).

The staff and especially the reception guys were very friendly and helpful. A sea view suite in Block TIRAN was perfect. The room cleaning was superb.

The animation is traditional, though two girls (Lena from Ukraine and Elina from Russia) are doing their best to involve the guests to the activities.

There is no loud music on the beach (great!), no flies and crows (great, great!) and there is a very good lagoon with a sand access here (oh this is really great, great, great!)

But any hotel in Egypt must have a reef access, doesn't it? It is a must have, for sure. Sharm Grand Plaza does have it with an obvious rich variety of fish and sea creatures. But hardly you would see all this beauty: no matter which wind, waves or green flag it would be, due to the strong flow the snorkeling would be prohibited. Of course, it is a matter of security. But why to build pontoon, which will be hardly used? Besides, there could be made some kind of water rope structure, which would permit people wanting safe snorkeling have a chance to seize a rope in case of strong flow. I am sure: if someone has a wish to change something for the better - he can do it by all means. But this is not the case: while the neighboring hotel pontoons are full of snorkelers, the Grand Plaza pontoon is empty. So, if you want a good snorkeling, you should choose some other hotel. At least for the time being.

The cuisine is average and practically identical each day: rice, potato, fat fish, chicken, beef. No seafood (I wonder why many visitors used to write in their reviews that here is a plenty of seafood, like crabs, quids, etc??? Not at all. No seafood in 6 days. No liver, no kebabs, once mutton, once turkey. Just imagine: no falafel for breakfast! The pastry is not tasty at all (was I in Egypt???). The fruit variety and their quality is poor. Though a watermelon was fantastic indeed!

All drinks are the same quality as everywhere in Egypt: the soft drinks are from cheap powders, the spirits are a weak taste of what have been written on the bottle labels.

To sum it up, what I really liked were: my sea view suite and cleaning, a calm beach and a marvelous lagoon, which was visited by guests even from neighboring Rixos.

If you are not nuts on the reef snorkeling and culinary delights, you would spend great time here.

We are resting with my husband in Egypt, hotel Sharm Grand Plaza Resot. A very large area around the hotel, everything is well-groomed, clean, classical music is played. Very polite and helpful staff. We especially want to note our waiter in the restaurant - Ahmed Hamed - he is a professional in his field. Always with a smile, humor and very, very attentive !!!

Firstly the sharm grand plaza resort is very welcoming and friendly . The staff cannot do enough to ensure your stay is a great one and nothing is too much trouble . The management are welcoming and professional and keen to ensure you are happy and are very approachable. A special mention to the lovely girl that is located in reception when I had an issue with a local supermarket she tried to assist me as best she could .
You can book a taxi through reception and with a return - each and every time the driver would be on time collecting you and ensure you got back to the hotel safely .
The rooms are comfortable, a little basic and could do with updating a little bit overall good value for the price . They are cleaned daily with an extra touch of returning back to a swan , a heart or even a palm tree on your bed !
Plenty of sun loungers around the pool areas , always kept clean and tidy and the hotel works very hard in the upkeep of the grounds . The poolside and bar staff are all really friendly and stop for a chat every day . The one part , in my opinion , that lets the hotel down is the food and drink choices . As a British person , it wasn’t always easy to find something to eat to suit my taste so I wouldn’t normally have breakfast . Lunch you would find salads and meats but nothing much for kids . The poolside bar served chips and pancakes each day and could do with a little more variety I feel . We did eat out many nights as the food wasn’t to our taste and I feel the hotel could attract British tourists more by offering a few dishes such as French fries and my son struggled to find much he liked to eat . The main restaurant could do with more lighting it’s very dark and it wasn’t always easy to see the choices of food . Overall I feel the food is what could be improved on in this hotel .
Finally a special mention to Mohamed in the gift shop in the hotel foyer , such a friendly and lovely person with great knowledge of Egyptian history and told me some very interesting facts . Another special mention to Hossam who really is ‘awesome’ and a pleasure to also chat with . As a British woman travelling alone with a child the hotel really went the extra mile to ensure we felt safe and happy in their care and we are very grateful

We spend 5 days in Sharm grand hotel:
The location was perfect for us because public transportation and taxis are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The beach: The hotel has a private beach with some rocks, but you will not be harmed if you swim barefoot.
the swimming pools: there are several swimming pools for children and adults.
the room; we rested in a single room with two large beds; the room was large, comfy, and clean.
the restaurants; there are two large restaurants offering a wide range of cuisines such as Italian, Arabic, and others.
The Italian restaurant was the greatest; the wonderful meal and deserts had a really perfect quality flavor.
The check-in and check-out times were flexible, and the reception staff was helpful in locating a room that met our needs.
The room service staff was polite, helpful, flexible ,honest, and clean.
The restaurant staff was friendly and helpful and they provided a welcoming atmosphere.
We are grateful to Captain Memo for his gracious hospitality and assistance.
We were delighted to meet him, and he made our journey more enjoyable.

Здравствуйте! Если Ваша малышка кушает то же, что и мама - то по питанию не будет трудностей. Многие приезжают с маленькими детьми. Пляжные полотенца выдают, напротив отеля и недалеко есть магазины где можно купить всё для гигиены.
