The property is very clean, maintained OK, one of the nicer options in this desert Oasis. The staff are a total delight, helpful, friendly and try to accommodate requests, not always easy due to limited resources available. One of the most disappointing was the shower water pressure, or shall we say the total lack of water pressure.

I agree with the reviewer who said to bear in mind that this is not a well established tourist destination. That said, we had a comfortable air conditioned room with a good bathroom where everything worked. Bed firm but comfortable and room would have been quiet but a/c unit was right outside the window and was very noisy, along with the unit for another room so we had no hope of peace even if we turned ours off. Room was cleaned properly, towels good. Food in restaurant varied enough to give plenty of choice and very good. Walking distance into town for a look around and everywhere very safe. Only problem was mosquitoes in room which gave me a lot of trouble and no spray available. Loved Siwa and would stay here again but will pack flyspray.

Arriving at the hotel, the personnel told us there, out of the 110 rooms, only were VIP rooms left. Turns out we were almost the only ones there and were 4 of the 6 guests attending the breakfast. Also, the water from the swimming pool was very dirty. Before we decided to book a room, they promised us to change the water so we could use it. They ended up not doing it even if we asked again a couple of times. Also, there was no hot water in the morning. Under these conditions, we thought it was only fair to ask for a small discount in the price at checkout. At least pay for a standard room instead of a VIP room. After arguing for 10 minutes and listening to their bad excuses, we paid the full 700EGP and left. Had it only been the cockroach in the room...
Although it looks nice at first sight, I really do not recommend this place.

My wife and I stayed at the Siwa Paradise Hotel for two nights as part of a tour of Egypt organised through Kuoni. We were assured by our Egyptian tour guide that this was the best hotel in Siwa.

The public areas of the hotel are OK though simple as you would expect in a desert oasis - they even have a family of cats living in the courtyard. The small pool area is inviting. The restaurant is gratefully non smoking and the food simple but good.

The bedrooms are reasonably clean with only a few insects (a feat in this climate though even just a few 2cm long ants may be enough for you). Rooms with air conditioners are available.

The beds are thin froam mattresses on a base of wooden planks so don't expect comfort!

Bathrooms have WC and showers but maintenance has been appartently neglected so much that the toilet cistern in our room did not refill when flushed and the handbasin leaked all over the floor. These faults were repeated in the next door room so ours was not just a one off.

Electrics in the bedrooms were worrying with loose wires visible.

Egyptians are charged much less than foreigners for rooms - room rates are displayed on the back of the bedroom doors.

In all this is a basic small hotel with potential which is ruined by the poor bedrooms and awful bathrooms.

The rooms are simple but unique. The ac worked good. The rate includes a small daily breakfast. The prices were fair. I did get red ants in my bathroom. But overall a very pleasant and peaceful experience at this hotel.

i loved it, the whole experience. may be it is the best hotel nearby the market area or downtown. it the kind of hotel that makes you feel peaceful at the country side with palm trees all around you yet it is 2 minutes away from downtown.
so it's location is great, also all the workers there were very helpful. they try their best to make you enjoy your stay and to solve any problem that you may face out there in this new, different city...about the food it was very good,
all in all the hotel was very good. i totally recommend it.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We did not hope for a 5* hotel, but you should take in consideration that Siwa is not yet a well formed tourist destination so all the facilities are elementary.
Advise: If you choose this hotel, book the air conditioned room (expensive but cleaner and acceptabile bath facililies).
The other rooms (ground floor) are very simple and not very comfortable (note that there is no shower curtain and the water flowes all over the bathroom), but even then I think that this hotel is one of the best Hotels in Siwa! You should not forget that the distance from the next city is 700 km!
Taking in consideration all this facts (tourism is in ones infancy, isolation) we had buffet breakfast and dinner not very diversified but everybody can find something on his/her taste. The staff of the hotel was very cooperative particulary the receptionist, our room was cleaned every day, we had breakfast even after the program of the restaurant and we got a room for shower after check-out...
I think these are good conditions for a hotel in the middle of the desert...

We stayed in this hotel 2 nights just before christmas. The service was ok but the staff wasn't professional, we had to explain word by word before they can understand our request . The double room was ok with a noisy A/C and a nasty bathroom, most of the appliances were broken or not working at all except the minifridge. Oh I didn't tell you about mosquitos, even my insect reppellent didn't work with them. Breakfast was disapointing, beside the omelet station nothing else was good but Dinner was ok. Bottom line it was a big deception and wasn't worth the high price we paid for. Fortunatly the beauty of Siwa oasis made us forget about this hotel. So stay away from it, they are much better hotels in the area.
