I stayed here for about a week while on Roatan and enjoyed myself thoroughly. The rooms were bright and spotless, the grounds were pretty and it was great to hang in the hammock or relax on the dock. I liked that the location was a bit off the main road, very quiet but still within easy walking distance to the...

We stayed here for the first week of a 3 week vacation. The most inexpensive and basic of the 3 places we stayed but very nice. We had a main floor room which was great! The back patio was surround by lush gardens so when we sat out, it felt like we were in the jungle. The room was spacious...

We have fallen in love with this posada, perfect location just few steps away from tha downtown's noises, private dock, big, bright and well furnished rooms with kitchen and balcony...everything has been perfect with the exception of the staff: two unfriendly and unpolite girls that even found it hard to say hello or raise their eyes from them book they...

I don't think you could beat this place for the location and the price. We were on the top floor far right room, number 19. We had a fantastic view from our room and since we were on the corner had excellent breezes blowing through our room in the evening. The room at the far end would probably have a...

We came upon this place when we tried to stay at their other place up the road but it was booked. When we showed up here to take a look, some fellow travelers staying there said that THIS place was much better than their other. They said it was clean and safe and affordable and they had been there all...

This is an excellent choice for economy and quality. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Housekeeping did a terrific job everyday. The kitchenette made life easier after a run to the grocery store. All appliances worked well and there were adequate dishes and utensils. An easy 4 minute walk to West End activity but away from it all for...

I spent three days at Las Orquideas. Overall it was a great experience. I requested the corner room on the second floor. It's worth doing b/c you have a better view of the bay and extra windows in your room, plus a little more privacy. It costs about $45 a night for a huge room with a private bath, balcony...

I'd emailed several hotels in West End the week before traveling there and all seemed to respond that there were plenty of rooms and not to worry, could get one when I arrived. We decided to look for something near Half Moon Bay Beach, and so first checked with Posada Arco Iris, but they were full. But a girl in...

We booked a week at Las Orquideas and were very happy with our choice. We had flown to Roatan on an early morning charter flight from Toronto and I'd say 95% of our fellow passengers were going to all inclusives. All the rooms at Las Orquideas face the water and there's a covered balcony, which gets the shade in the...
