Loved this place. Beautiful courtyard and nice rooms with lots of character. We were here when the banks opened after the currency. Jogi and our tour leader managed to get us to a local bank on tuk tuks. The hotel photocopied all,our passports which we needed to exchange our old currency. Afterwards jogi took us to Bundi palace. His tour...

Stayed on a group tour. Room OK but nothing special. rather liked the colonial style building. A bit of hike out of the centre of the town so easier to eat in hotel. Again food OK but not outstanding. Wifi only in Lobby

This is a hotel with interesting historical associations as it was built in the 1920s by the local Maharajah as a guest house and it contains some unusual artefacts. There is a pretty courtyard garden which doubles as the bar and a very basic dining area but the food was tasty and inexpensive and the management helpful and enthusiastic. Our...

This hotel is well run with terrific staff. We arrived late on the main Diwali night and the staff put on a fireworks display on the roof and in the street. Great fun! The breakfast and lunch were excellent and reasonably priced.

Attention and service given by the manager were excellent. He was untiring in explaining dishes and directing the waiters. He was also our very knowledgeable and charming guide to the palace and through the old city. The dining room is a showpiece of colonial history. A wonderful place to stay.

I visited as part of a group and while we were there for only one night I was struck by the incredibly good service we received. The hotel's jeeps and drivers took us to visit Bundi Palace and also a small village nearby. We were leaving on an evening train and the staff packaged up a very tasty dinner to...

This was probably my favourite place we stayed in our 20 days in India. Our room was beautiful, colourful, clean and had an awesome air conditioner. The food in the restaurant was great, out tour group would order food 45 mins before we would all go for dinner. This worked out great. The wifi works really well but only in...

First impression are good. A very impressive building with beautiful gardens and a lovely terrace area to sit out on. Rooms are a bit dank, and the door is locked only with a padlock. We had no hot water in the shower and the power was pretty poor too. Breakfast was good. Dinner service was extremely slow, expect at least...

I stayed here with an intrepid group. Everyone loved it. Large entrance way beautiful furniture. Beautiful court yard with rooms located around it. Very large room and bathroom. Clean, nicely furnished. Restaurant upstairs, lots to chose from on menu. Lots of room to sit. This place was a perfect chose with no complaints at all.

Beautiful surroundings, clean and comfortable. Service and food both good, so would recommend staying here if in the area for a quiet night. Check out appears to be relatively in the morning while local trains leave later in the evening, so may need to consider a day room to avoid sitting in the lobby.
