Jitwilai Place is a pleasant hostel in Ayutthaya. We take a spacious, clean and very nice room with a big double bed. The price is 550 Bht. The staff is friendly, you can leave your luggage and charge the batteries in the reception after checking out. There are many food stalls nearby so you can enjoy local cuisine even late... More

In all the years I have been traveling through so many countries this is the first time I've been told I need to pay more for a blanket. They also charge more for additional pillows and towels. The place is fairly clean, I'll give them that, but the hot water dribbles out of the shower. The bed is as hard... More

We stayed here because it was the only place we could find that had a room free at short notice. I wouldn't stay there again. For 600 baht there are much nicer places available. The hotel & room were functional, a little run down but totally impersonal & characterless. The lady on reception must be the most unsmiling person in... More

Reasonably priced hotel. Neat and tidy. Very close to the market and bus stand. I believe the family takes care of the facility and they do it in a nice way. In the evenings you have food stalls quite close to the hotel and therefore you can enjoy the local cuisine.

Shower, air cond and wifi for 500 bht. What else do you need to have a rest after another hot day? Train station and river are mear the hotel. Also a market and KFC in 5 min. I found this place just walking around, trip advisor doesn't show it for it's shame.

This is an average backpacker/hotel with just the basics (TV, bathroom, air con). You can find better value places in Ayutthaya with more of a communal and cultural vibe for much cheaper. The bed was like sleeping on a plank of wood, and we were only given a small thin blanket make of terry towel - despite the heat during... More

After traveling through Thailand for about a month, I found Jitvilai to be one of the cleanest, convenient and comfortable guest houses in Thailand. I stayed at the Jitvialai on U-Thong road. There is another Jitvilai owned by the same family a few blocks away. I stayed here for 5 days which gave me ample time to explore all of... More
