We had selected the Krungsri hotel, because it is described in 2 guide books as « the best in town » (or nearly). Probably the journalists of these guides have not visited this hotel for several years. Otherwise they would have noticed that Krungsri is...More
This is an older place by the river. Fantastic location but it has seen better days. Lots of staff but not everyone speaks English. Some parts of the hotel are nice, other bits are dated. There are better places in Ayutthaya
Krungsri is a good hotel that could be very good with a little investment and refurb. I spent a lot of the 2 days I stayed there dreaming about what I would do to make it better; shampoo the carpet, take away the odd nick...More
Nice middle class hotel. Not within walking distance of historical sites. Reasonably sized rooms, good beds, OK pillows. Fair-sized bathroom, shower over bath. Shower head too low for average to tall European people. Enough space around hand basin to stow toiletries. Wifi was good enough....More
This is an average hotel . They did not have WI fi working when we were there and the elevator was not working down to the basement where the restaurant was. It meant walking down & up two steep flights of slippery granite steps. I...More

The other answer is wrong. There are very few spaces adjacent to the hotel and spots are so small you will need assistance from a parking attendant to squeeze into a space, assuming of course one is available which it won't likely be. Your better off though, because who wants dents, dings, and chipped paint? The spaces are so narrow you literally can't open your car door without hitting the adjacent car. So, the more likely scenario is you will be parking in the large gravel parking lot located across the street, which is fine in the daytime, at night time I'd be concerned about my car being broken into or even stolen. There are many homeless people and drug users that live under the adjacent bridge. Your best bet - find another hotel, for many reasons!
