I check-in with my parent about 1night for travel at Ayutthaya Temple.
For in my opinion about the Ayuthaya Riverside Hotel.
Advantage is hotel was good about prices and near of the centre Ayutthaya,
I just booked the hotel to very lated in the morning and check-in in the afternoon.
I don't have choice not much but this price late is good and near the centre.
(I booked the room normal but they gave the room river view room)
Disadvantage the location is near the temple so scared and The hotel is immemorial.

Overall, I would like to recommend for stay, safe your money and good for travel :)

My girlfriend and I stayed one night at The Ayothaya Riverside Hotel....
The staff was very friendly and helpful but the room was dirty, stains on the sheets, pillow cases and stains on the carpet. The hotel is in dire need of a remodel/facelift NOW.... Will not return👎👎👎👎👎

I think the hotel can use some renovation, the rooms and hotel a bit dated. Parking is ample, and the location is rather good. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. Room size is ok but just dated. Bathroom can use more lights. Good that the hotel provide drinking water and also welcome drink at lobby.

Didn't get rooms next to each other as had been requested and I feel as though it was because they gave us the rooms that were not in their best shapes. The shower in one of the rooms wasn't working very well, so my son had to use the shower in our room. The bathrooms were grotty, our TVs in both rooms were old box TVs that hardly worked and unfortunately for them while the cleaners were cleaning the rooms, 4 rooms were open and we noticed they had fancy flat screen TVs and we're in a much better state than ours.
Breakfast was okay. Could do with much hotter coffee and tea. There was no milk for the tea until I asked.
There was a young lady at the desk when we checked out who was very sympathetic after I complained about the rooms and she sorted out getting us a taxi to Bangkok.
I would not want to stay there again or recommend.

we booked for 2 nights and after one, we checked out. The place stank of cigarette smoke, the staff couldn't speak english, the panels on the wall in my room were falling off. half the lights didn't work. There were stains on the carpet. The breakfast room stunk of cigarettes, everything was dirty, flies everywhere, cutlery not washed properly.

Poor, old, smelly rooms. Very poor english of their staff. Breakfast almost not existing - just some toast, tea or undrinkable coffee. Many guests bought something in the nearby convenience store and were eating this in the breakfast room. Overpriced Internet / WiFi. Some things (clothing, pocketknife, toilet case, ...) have misteriously disappeared in our room, but of course they did not understand what we were confronting them with and emails remained unresponded... The only positive aspect is the convenient location close to the railway station.

Ayutthaya was the pitfall of otherwise enjoyable SE Asian trip.
The city reflects the accommodation on offer, very poor.
Photos of the hotel would appear to be decades old, and bear no resemblance to current state.
Observation of Ayutthaya generally, filthy, old and decrepit, and that's not a reference to the historical area.
Booked for two nights in Ayutthaya, spent one night and departed on the earliest available train the following day for Phitsanulok.
Breakfast wasn't worth the time in sitting down.
The only positive for the hotel was its vicinity to the train station.

It is almost a joke. The rooms are old and dirty. The breakfast is terrible. There was even a mouse running away from the breakfast table. We were almost the only guests. All room doors on our floor were open so we could just walk in everywhere. We had the feeling we were in a kind of ghost hotel. The hotel staff deserve a better hotel, they are really kind and helpful.

Looking at the reviews on has the impression that is is as God as the Oriental in Bangkok I'd not better. Far from reality. Located between the river and the Trainstation , the possibility of sleeping is destroyed. Maintenance simply horrible, staff demotivated , rooms filthy , air con needed because it's louder than outside noise.
The restaurant ,floating , pathetic .

We hit town after a bit of a drive and we just needed a place to shower and sleep and this fit the bill!. Cheap but good location, not too noisy (our room anyway) and clean.
We didn't opt for any deals with Breakfast etc...I never do in Thailand with so many options for food out and about it doesn't make any sense to have breakfast in a hotel, but that's just me!
Beds were quite comfortable but more importantly clean.
The lady at the front desk when we arrived was very friendly and helpful.
We didn't book a room but you might need to at different times but if you are on a road trip or looking for a budget option I can recommend this place.
