This place is special. Don't expect a city hotel room vibe. This is a 'close to nature' and embrace it, comfortable experience. The owners are special also. The food and beverage selection is what one would expect. The water is stunning, warm, very blue and sings you a lullaby to sleep every night. Highly recommended.

Kalume is set at the far end of the beach away from the army of day trippers, the view is breathtaking, crystal clear waters lapping white sands. We stayed in a bamboo bungalow which for the night we were there was perfect ( we slept for 11 hours!). The bungalow itself is basic but no sign of any rats (as...

It looks beautiful and charming, nice music, location and lighting. But it was a terrible experience bad quality, confused, slow and not organized at all. One hour and 15 minutes to prepare a instalara caprese... the mozzarella was a piece of rubber. Oily potato chips and the 3rd plate never arrived... If this restaurant were in Italy It would be...

We only ate in the restaurant so can't make any comments about the bungalows. We loved the look of this place right on the beach. It was always busy and has a really inviting hippy vibe about. Unfortunately we thought the restaurant served very average food. Painful service. Sloppy management.

We arrived here for a 2 night stay and quickly asked if we could stay a extra night. We stayed in the more basic bamboo hut more on the beach side. The bed was made with a crispy clean sheets and it had a good quality, totally intact mosquito net. The atmosphere is amazing and you can lounge and drink...

We stayed here for 4 nights just before Christmas for our joint birthday...the island itself is absolute paradise and Kalume has a really good atmosphere, great bar area, friendly Italian owners and very tasty food. It's situated on a lovely quiet spot on the beach (next door to Reef Resort which was also lovely) that doesn't get crowded by day...

Located on a nice beach about 10 mins walk from the ferry drop off. This place surely have potential to become something great, somewhere it gets wrong though. I stayed for two nights and the bungalow wasn't cleaned during my stay. The ventilation was really bad so the bungalow was crazy hot at night and the fan didn't help at...

Kalume is a laid back resort that provides everything you need for a stay on the island paradise of koh Kradan. The beach huts are either wooden or bamboo and have neither air-conditioning or hot water. But then I don't think anyone visits Kradan to stay in their room. I believe there are plans to upgrade the bamboo huts in...

The place is quite average and none of the waiters seemed to speak any English so impossible to order anything off menu or make requests. Pointing at the menu was the only way to communicate and sometimes that still didn't help (my son got tomato sauce even though we pointed at carbonara...) BUT, they have gluten-free pasta and that sure...

The owners were friendly and charming. The beach here looks like something from a postcard. Three adorable small dogs roam about the grounds. Our wooden bungalow was clean and very cute. As a native New Yorker, I usually pass on what people try to sell as pizza outside of Italy and my hometown. Kalume's pizza has a proper and excellent...

“Bamboo bungalows a step from the beach but small and for real nature lovers, Wooden very good with large patio. Did not try the family room but is concrete made and quite big, i think best option if you have children.”

“We booked a Bamboo cottage (900 Baht/night), which was also on the beach. But we've upgraded it to a Wooden cottage (1,000 Baht/night, normal price was 1,500 Baht/night) when we got there. It was also on the beach, but the wooden cottage seems to be better built.”
