Kalume is a laid back resort that provides everything you need for a stay on the island paradise of koh Kradan. The beach huts are either wooden or bamboo and have neither air-conditioning or hot water. But then I don't think anyone visits Kradan to stay in their room. I believe there are plans to upgrade the bamboo huts in...

The place is quite average and none of the waiters seemed to speak any English so impossible to order anything off menu or make requests. Pointing at the menu was the only way to communicate and sometimes that still didn't help (my son got tomato sauce even though we pointed at carbonara...) BUT, they have gluten-free pasta and that sure...

The owners were friendly and charming. The beach here looks like something from a postcard. Three adorable small dogs roam about the grounds. Our wooden bungalow was clean and very cute. As a native New Yorker, I usually pass on what people try to sell as pizza outside of Italy and my hometown. Kalume's pizza has a proper and excellent...

Fun and laid back place with very attractive rustic bunglows and a great casual beachside Italian restaurant. Food is so good (puttanesca pasta is incredible, and the crisp pizza crust makes you think you are in Brooklyn.) I usually stick to local food when traveling, but it was so good I ate here every meal when on the island. I...

Stayed for just two nights but would happily have been here for longer. One of the loveliest island beaches in this group of islands, with good snorkelling offshore and lovely views across to Ko Mook etc. The Italian proprietor is rightly proud of what he has created here. Our basic fan-cooled hut looked out directly over the lawn onto the...

We in the beach side hut for 2 nights in late November 2016. It was the highlight of our trip. The beach is calm and beautiful, the food is excellent (seafood pasta or Diavalo pizza) and the staff are extremely helpful. There are multiple huts with cushions for you to relax in, these are a must even if you're not...

Stayed here for two nights in November. Travelled over from Koh Muk via longtail (300tbh) and they dropped us right outside the accommodation which was perfect. Allowed us to check in early as bungalow was ready. Bed and pillow were both rock hard so had abit of trouble sleeping. Loved the shower though, very powerful. Owner secured our passports in...

I had a wonderful time at Kalume Village. They serve amazing, delicious food. Bungalows are comfortable, clean, cozy! But the most important thing is that the staff and owners are amazing, friendly people who really care about their vistors!

“Bamboo bungalows a step from the beach but small and for real nature lovers, Wooden very good with large patio. Did not try the family room but is concrete made and quite big, i think best option if you have children.”

“We booked a Bamboo cottage (900 Baht/night), which was also on the beach. But we've upgraded it to a Wooden cottage (1,000 Baht/night, normal price was 1,500 Baht/night) when we got there. It was also on the beach, but the wooden cottage seems to be better built.”
