A short walk in to the jungle on the island, this pearl serves the best and most tasteful thai-food on the island. However, our 10-y/o son's favorite was their Pasta Bolognese! We made a routine out of having lunch here after a nice morning on Sunset beach (which we often had to ourselves), but as it also is so nice and friendly we came here in the evenings too. Highly recommend Paradise lost!

I am sorry to write this, but we had a really horrible experience. The bungalows are extremely basic, with no hot water, no air conditioning, even no proper floor!! Moreover the few poor items that are there are extremely dirty and cheap, the mosquito net with holes (included some pics). The owners and staff are unfriendly, they do not even offer a glass of water when you arrive (there is quite a walk through the beach and on a small path through the woods, depending on temperature and humidity can be challenging with luggage...). Insects are everywhere. Breakfast is not included. There is a sinister atmosphere everywhere around the place. In the evening, if you want to go to the village, you have to take the pathway through the woods, very dark and unbelievably full of bats and wandering dogs, it was really scary!! I admit I am more a city lady, so maybe this was more challenging for me than for others, but I travel a lot and what I really did not like is feeling that this place was an intentional rip off for the tourists. On other Islands the price for this "service" would be 20/25 €, here for 2 people 50€.... STAY AWAY

The huts are not on the beach but it is actually quite convenient as it gives you access to the 3 beaches of the island instead (one for snorkel, one for sunset and one for a nice run) it is also nice to wake up in the Lush of a tropical garden instead of opposite boats. Only down side was the cold water for shower, we got caught in the middle of a storm so it wasn’t as warm as usual and tricky for our two 2 years olds.

Not to be mistaken for a resort, this place is definitely on the rustic side and suitable for travellers who can do without the luxuries. We had planned to stay for two nights and extended to five as we loved it so much. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy, mosquito net needed a little repair but did the job fine. The food and drink was outstanding, though expensive. But this is to be expected on such a small island. Really great that they had free filtered drinking water, so bring a bottle and save on plastic! Though they could do with paper/reusable straws as they serve most cold drinks with plastic ones. The accom is only a short walk from both front and back beaches, and we enjoyed the walk as it was through the jungle. Being tucked away from the beaches meant it was quieter during the day (as there can be many boat-loads of people arriving for day trips) If you like secluded places, beautiful beaches and don’t mind sharing a bathroom then this will do the trick. Would recommend.
