We had a beachfront bungalow for 3 nights (1000 baht per night). It was a little run down, but clean - there were just some ants in the bathroom near the window. You should take a mosquito net with you, because they don't have one and on the evening there are quite a lot mozzies. The beachfront huts are nice...

My boyfriend and i stayed here on 2 occassions about a month apart. Basic fan rooms are at the back and are 500b a night. Decent rooms though although our drains started to stink after a few days. They have awesome little sitting huts right on the beach which we chilled out in (better than sitting in the sun on...

This place used to be called Darawadee, and is reviewed in the Lonely Planet, but that review is way out of date. There are two faces to this place: a motel-style block, which feels old and a bit run down, and is set a little further back from the beach; and the bungalows, which seem newer and nicer. B/c the...

Stayed in this hotel first week of february for 9days. The hotel is located in klong khong.. it is not the finest beach in koh lanta since the beachfront is full of big rocks... BUT its not a big problem since you can find some free spots.. We got the Room 205 it was HUGE w/ balcony. I thought it...

Unlike most places at Christmas, Lanta Green Garden didn't charge an extortionately high price and offerred decent accomodation. The bungalows are clean, comfortable and offer air conditioning for 1,000 Baht a night (which is cheaper than anywhere in the islands at this time of year). It's a very quiet resprt and offers hammocks and great places to chill and admire...

We met Wang on the boat to Lanta as others have. We're always hesitant about this sort of thing, but coming over in December with no place to stay, we took him up on his 800 baht offer for an air con bungalow. It was great! The bungalows look brand new, the restauant is good and decently priced, and the...

If you expect some kind of relaxation there, forget it. The beach full of rocks that looks like pile of shiet, really. The hotel noisy with loud music at night from the bar. Everywhere russians, screaming kids etc. So nothing to relax.

we met Wang (son of owner- he says) on the boat to Lanta who we agreed a price with we get to the hotel where all of a sudden the price goes up by 250 Baht. Cue our fall out with Wang and his very public, very loud and very embarrassing rant at how we are lying to him. making...

Stayed two nights. Fan room was clean but due to no flyscreens and mosquitos in the evening could not circulate fresh air, so had a couple of rather hot muggy nights. A nice beach when tide is in, otherwise it's rock hoppers oasis. I would only advise eating here once, just so you can experience how badly a meal can...

The staff here were pretty disinterested. Everything seemed too much trouble We had a room with a fan, the windows opened nicely, but no screens. This made for a hot sleepless night. Cannot recommend this place.
