The cabanas are very private. Nice and quirky. But futon too hard. Not enough room to move around the bed and no seating apart from un comfy camp chair outside which is very very hot. Bring plenty of mosquito spray. Very disappointed with the breakfast. 4 options all western. Eggs anyway you want and the tomatoes are the highlight. Tea...

This resort is very different to anywhere I have stayed before. It is just like glamour camping but instead of a tent it is a concrete bunker. Which was pretty cool. The bed is huge and has a fantastic mosquito net which the staff bring down each night so not one mosquito can get into the bed area. (There are...

I stayed in the bamboo cabana as arranged prior to my arrival. I was told their concrete cabanas pictured on their website were full. The manager/owner wrote me they were virtually the same except the material used to build the cabanas. Not true. The bamboo cabanas we stayed in were full of mosquitoes and far from the beach. I'll call...

We has an excellent 4 day stay at Costa Lanta. We took a standard Cabana. There are a few things to note. The rooms themselves are very small, the moveable walls bring the outside in, which makes the mosquito nets absolutely essential. The concept is a little odd, I am a fan of polished concrete, which this is actually not,...

We stayed at Costa Lanta for four nights in mid Jan. From a guest perspective we could not have been more looked after. All of the team at Costa Lanta were super friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a magical stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and we had a private boat trip organised for us...

We stayed at Costa Lanta for a few days in February (high season). We weren't disappointed. The dark, minimalist 'bungalows' are a little on the cramped side, but are nonetheless very well designed. Be sure to pack mosquito repellent as the rooms often get bugs flying around. The net around the bed goes some way to protect to you, but...

I read the other reviews. This is a very different experience to any other luxury hotel that I have stayed in so I wanted to see what others wrote. We stayed 6 nights. At first I did not understand the concept. You sort of arrive at your bungalow by the back door and the architecture is radically different to anything...

I must admit that the concept is interesting. You get to sleep outside while being in a comfy bed. We slept every night with all the doors open and it was great. Also a very quiet resort and ideal if you want to take a break. Only downside was that the room itself is very small and not much space...

More than a really nice hotel to stay, it is a nature integrated project. The high quality of the services, including the attention the staff gives to their guests is amazing. They do much more than you can think to make you feel special. One of the best hotels we've stayed in Thailand, without being pretentious. Highly recommended.

Room was a bunker , no windows, too small with any decent place to open a suitcase, any comfort Bathroom is unhygienic , water coming from an old "design" wood tap , rust spots everywhere Dangerous steps without clear signals leading to narrow ramps Swamps everywhere are habitats for mosquitoes, impossible to enjoy the resort or sleep in peace, they...
