When we came to Dewshore, we were looking for a place to relax and watch the sunset in a hammock, surrounded by palm trees. As a couple, we felt in best hands here. Initially we had only booked for 1 night, but then stayed 6 nights. First, in R1 (the big bungalow right on the ocean) and then in R6 (also very nice view). The ocean and the pool are good for swimming. Nice places to eat and drink are conveniently close (neighbouring sunset bar and milky bay restaurant). Bungalows were really nice: Clean, well equipped, A/C conditioning, comfortable beds. Enough space. Plus a private outside terrace on each bungalow. We loved it. The staff was helpful, for example offering a taxi service to the boat when we left.

I recently stayed at the Dewshore Resort and I could tell that my stay was simply delightful. I felt like being a VIP in paradise. This is a family-owned business so the staff was very friendly. I had a very warm welcome when I arrived. This resort offers a wide range of rooms for every budget. Since I went there during a very quiet period due to the current sanitary situation, I chose the best and biggest bungalow (with jacuzzi) right on the beach front. It was exactly what I was looking for, a quiet and stylish room right on the the beach front. The room was very nice, brand-new and sparkling clean with a huge terrace and offered very nice views over the sea and the opposite Koh Samui. Although the Ban Tai beach is definitely not the best beach in Koh Phangan, you'll certainly enjoy the beautiful view and the quietness of that place. A stroll right down the bungalow on low tide in the morning was a great way to start the day. One thing I really appreciated about that place is that even though the current situation is very difficult for every business owner in Koh Phangan and I was one of the only guests staying at that time, the whole resort (including my bungalow, the common areas and the swimming pool) was sparkling clean. It was also very safe, with CCTV cameras and a huge doggy to take care of the place. There was always some staff to help and clean, which is a credit to them, when considering the fact that I was one of the only tourists in Koh Phangan at the time. Highly recommended. I will definitely return before tourists come back :-)

During my long (much much longer than expected - thanks, COVID 19) stay here, I have experienced nothing but kindness and professionalism. The resort is maintained daily and it shows, this truly is a paradise on Earth with beautiful garden, beach access, pool and plenty of hammocks for afternoon chill out. Thank you for making my rather unusual solo trip so much more relaxed and bearable.

The resort is beautiful and better than our expectations. It is conveniently located near a few restaurants and convenience stores, and just off a main road so it's easy to get a taxi at almost any time. We used a scooter which is definitely the best way to explore the island though. We stayed here for 8 days, with 4 days in a superior bungalow and another 4 in a standard AC bungalow. Both were very nice. The resort is surrounded in nature so you're constantly hearing birds chirping, frogs croaking etc, but it's nice and immersive. The site is constantly being maintained so is always immaculate. The pool is excellent and has a jacuzzi feature too. There are hammocks at the edge of the resort by the sea, but it's not a proper beach. Still a great spot for watching sunsets and relaxing though. There is a restaurant on-site, but we didn't use it as I'm vegan and found dozens of restaurants on the island which cater to vegans. Some people have left negative reviews for this resort, so I was initially sceptical booking here, but glad that I did. It's probably not a typical resort in that it's family run and you may not get the pampered experience like other resorts; it's more of a managed site with bungalows and a pool so you can do your own thing, which is what we like. Overall, I'd recommend this place highly. The prices are also excellent. PS there is a very sweet and gentle dog that stays on the resort and we'll miss it dearly!

This hotel is a very relaxed hotel. The rooms are nice bungalow style villas that are classic Thailand style. I would highly recommend the hotel. The hotel is next to some great restaurants and a fantastic spot to take some memorable pictures. The company that runs the Half moon party is next door to the hotel. Great beach view, easy to grab a truck taxi that are always driving around, and smoking is allowed outside. Only a 15 - 20 minute ride to the Amsterdam bar.

We booked this place for 8 nights for a family vacation. We gave up the money and left after 1 night. Preferred to pay double than to stay there. First of all- they have never ever heard the word SERVICE. They were rude and RACIST!!! We didn't manage to see one smile on anyone's face. Even during check in... The room was small, had broken taps, leakage from the toilet and bad smell. The pool was nice but there is NO BEACH! The area in general has stony beach (unlike the other part of the island), but there is no direct access from the resort. you need to go over a fence to the other resort! Also- it's the high season. Most places were fully booked (I approached over 20! on that day!). This place was EMPTY! We want to have quite and relaxation but not be alone for a week.... Save yourself the disappointment and the money.

Dewshore is truly paradise. We stayed in the beachfront bungalow with spa bath, which was incredible. The bungalow is literally a few steps from the sea, and we had our own little sandy area with sun loungers out front. I can't quite describe how relaxing it was to sit here and take in the sea view. The pool area and grounds are lovely - so much care is taken in making sure the garden is kept in good condition and everything is so beautiful and green. The pool was brilliant for cooling off in the heat, and was sparkling clean. The bungalow had everything we needed, including nice strong air conditioning (you just need to leave in on for a wee while to cool down fully). The view from the bungalow truly was amazing - there's a set of massive windows so you can see the sea from anywhere in the bungalow. We left the curtains open at night so the view was the first thing we saw when waking up. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and small shops in the area - with a particularly cool bar/restaurant called Sunset Walk right next door. It's around a 10 minute drive to the main part of the town and pier, but we loved Dewshore so much that we spent most of our time there. The owner is such a lovely man, and was so accommodating and friendly to us. The homemade food in the restaurant was brilliant - make sure you have the muesli for breakfast - it's hands down the tastiest I've ever had!! If you want to experience your own little slice of paradise, definitely visit Dewshore!

We have spent three days at this nice and cozy resort. Villas are primitive, but well suited for sleepover. Pool area, hammocks and sea view is magnificient and restaurant is very good and authentic. We recommend this as a good place to stay when on koh phangnan.
