This must be the most Beautifully designed bungalow, with cool curved walls everywhere, many beautiful mosaic covered shelves and so comfortable.

I disagree with previous reviewers as it is not falling apart, been left to rot, my room did not smell, communications with staff were superb when I booked and asked several questions before arriving. Perhaps it’s more down to how you approach situations as to what response you get. 🙁

Also the reception “area” is not manned but you can ALWAYS find helpful boys working in the bar/restaurant all you have to do is walk 1 minute straight down the only path🤨

My pictures will not show the beautiful almost Gaudi like design but if you like something so different from boring straight wall box hotels with no character or shelves then please look at this place, and it’s very reasonably priced.

I have booked Le Comedy Boutique Hotel for couple of friends came from Bangkok for Half Moon. The hotel is so comfortable with all of the room has its own light color and the room is so bright and inviting. The pool is amazing with view of Koh Samui and the food at the onsite restaurant is delicious. This is our first time here but next time we will certainly book again. Great recommended hotel.

I want to say a big THANKS to the owner and staff of the hotel for an amazing stay. We rested at the hotel for 4 days and it was awesome. Very clean and large rooms, great design and comfort, comfortable beds and a magical attitude towards guests. The room has everything you need, coffee maker, kettle, iron, hair dryer, comfortable baby bed and dressing room. Upstairs is a hammock for relaxation. Convenient location for exploring the island. Large and tasty breakfasts, amazing dinner dishes and cocktails. Pool, table for games, toys for children.
We will definitely be back again. This hotel is one of the best I have been to.

Perhaps once a quirky and interesting place, but now looks sort of like somebody tried to build a surrealist motel and then left it to fall apart for 10 years. The cheapest rooms face a busy road, and the more expensive ones are just weird and musty. Never saw a single person at reception while I stayed there, and had to search through the hotel to find someone working to settle my bill when I left, which took some time. Owner seems to have once been focused on creating something unique but now doesn’t care, and there are many better places nearby for the same or cheaper.

Turn out that they did not book the room as communicated.

I highly recommended to avoid this hotel at all cost.
Hotel is not helpful and unkind. Miscommunicate and turn out that no room was booked. After asking to recommend the other place, he replied “ if he has time” this is negative energy hotel staff that everyone should run away from this hotel.

Booked for a couple of nights whilst we were staying in koh phangan for the full moon party. We wanted somewhere cheap and cheerful and away from the madness of the party. This accommodation was ideal for that. Short taxi ride to haad rin (15 mins) and again probably the same the other end by zen beach. Good central location to explore the island.
We had a little bungalow which was good value for money. Bathroom could of been slightly better cleaned but the bed was surprisingly really comfy. Mini bar in the room had a great selection and tv had Netflix which was a bonus. A couple of minutes walk from the night market which has some amazing food stalls.
The pool area is lovely, great little outside bar overlooking the sea.
The staff are very pleasant and helpful especially the guy at check in.
Food was also really good ! Highly recommend if you’re looking for value for money and nothing fancy.

We, Family of three, stayed here for five days and enjoyed it very much.
Nice and clean bungalow, beautiful pool, delicious drinks at the bar, good breakfast, got help with renting scooters, got recommendations on where to go, good restaurants within walking distance, all in all a good place to stay to explore the Island. Glad we stayed here!!

My wife and I arrived here after staying at a boutique resort on Samui. From start to finish we are not quite sure why this hotel is described as boutique because in our opinion it isn't. It's more like an average three star hotel with some pleasant bits but others not so pleasant. The room was spacious but basic, with air-conditioning that didn't provide coverage for the entire space, in particular the bed area. There was also a smell of damp on entering the room until the AC kicked in and cover it up. The cushions on the seating area were stained, and the crisps in our minibar were clearly out of date. Good points about the room were that the bed was comfortable and large and the shower was good. We also had a roof terrace although it would have been good to have two hammocks rather than just one up there. The pool was a great size and overlooked the beach although the chairs around the pool were all stained and clearly old. The beach is also not great for swimming as the water is extremely shallow for a very long way out and surrounded by a reef. After a night out one night, we came back and had a moonlight swim and after about half an hour there was an overwhelming stench of what smelled like raw sewage coming from the beach. We could only assume that the nearby resorts and hotels were dumping their waste into the sea, the smell was so bad! The bar area was nice and the restaurant served a good variety of food, although the standard was average. The staff and owners were all very friendly which was good, although on our departure, one of the staff at reception gave us the wrong information for catching the ferry which really messed up our day. finally, the hotel didn't except card transactions so we had to pay in cash for everything, including the room. In this day and age that isn't really acceptable. In summary, we had mixed feelings about this hotel. It was pleasant enough but I don't think it deserves the number one spot on trip advisor if the owners spend a little time and money making some basic improvements to this hotel then it could be really great, but at the moment it isn't.

Hello Megan. The main pier of Koh Phangan is Thong sala. It is a 10 minutes ride from the hotel. Taxi charge 100 baht / person There is another pier in Haad rin for only one boat company, ride is minutes but price is the same.
