Jamaica inn has an amazing ocean view. We had the best bungalow, the only one that was right on the beach. It was clean but still felt a bit dirty because of how worn down it was. The staff was very friendly and helpfull and the food is good. Its between thong sala and haad rin, but with a scooter...

Horrible. Just horrible. Checked in. Went to the room. It had a sea view which was amazing but it went onto a shared balcony not like the pictures onto the beach. The room was tiny. Bed was really uncomfortable didn't look that clean. Only a cold water shower. Fan sounded like you were sleeping under a plane and the pillow...

When we arrived we were given an absolute dump of a room - a tiny, smelly, dark room with a dirty bathroom. We went to explain that this was not the room we booked in Bangkok and the owner said we would have to pay to upgrade for a room with air-con. I happily did this as I would've preferred...

Hostel is not bad - I stayed there this month 5 nights. Very calm, right next to the beach. Very relaxing place but quite isolated to the "city". To buy something or simply go to some bars you will need to take taxi (each trip by taxi costs 100baths - 2,5euro..or rent a bike - better option but not for...

This hotel is isolated, you'll need a scooter, or take a taxi to go anywhere. But for that reason it's very quiet and relaxing. The food in the restaurant is ok, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was big and comfortable, with great views and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The beach was deserted, very beautiful and...

I booked here as it was one of the only places available around New year's eve time. At £70 a night (approx 4000 bht) I think it is unacceptable there was no hot water. The water coming out of the taps and toilet didn't look clean and was light brown in colour. Upon arrival they took my passport and when...

Decent and clean rooms, all with a sea view and quiet but very friendly staff. Seems to be run by a family. Theres a restaurant that serves delicious home-cooked thai food as well as western stuff, all reasonably priced. Beer and other drinks are a bit expensive though. The beach is litterally just a stonethrow away; very intimate and not...

We booked online to stay at Jamaica for the Full Moon weekend. I was reluctant to book ahead because I usually prefer to see a place in person first (and you pay extra to book online), but did anyway since it seemed to be the only place with vacancy. After arriving at Jamaica my husband and I quickly learned why...
