This is our third year at KPP and it never fails to impress. Thanks to the very appreciated upgrade we stayed in the Orchid Upper and the views from the huge balcony are spectacular, right down the forest to the sea, we spotted sea eagles wheeling about overhead and watched a small bird of prey feasting every late afternoon, beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean and you have everything you might need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Sinbad and her lovely team are on hand to assist you with any trips or return journeys etc. The grounds are immaculate as is the pool area full of colour and so tranquil. There are some steps down to the village and a 5 minute walk to the beach which also has bar's and restaurants. The apartments may not be for you if you have any mobility issues because of the steps.

We have been in Thailand for 2 years now but have not experienced the sort of quality that Koh Phagnan Pavilions offer... this place is superb. If you are looking for a relaxing stay with high quality fixtures, fittings and furnishings, this is your place. The well thought out design of the apartments mean that there is real privacy and the walk down to the beautiful beach was lovely. Our apartment was brilliantly fitted out with everything we needed and was very spacious. The staff are excellent, from the cleaners to the host Sinbad who is very attentive and helpful. We can't rate this place highly enough.

Dear Dave and Family, Many thanks for your extremely positive review of our small slice of Paradise. Unfortunately, I was not able to meet you due to current circumstances but hopefully next year. Sinbad has described you as ‘the most wonderful family and perfect guests’, high praise indeed! The spaciousness of the self-catering apartments does seem to make them ideal for the present situation where space and privacy are big pluses. Once again, thank you for your kind and descriptive review and we hope to see you here again next year, Best Regards, Mike on behalf of Sinbad and her great team

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pavilions. The rooms are well set out with great views where you can relax and enjoy the warm weather. The nearby village has a number of good food outlets both local and European.

We stayed for seven nights at the Pavilions which was amazing, large apartment with fantastic views over the rain forest down to the sea, rooms fitted out to a high standard and kept clean. Pool area nice to chill out and just a 5min walk into the village which has some very good quality restaurants and a few bars and supermarkets. This is the 3rd time we have stayed and will return next year. Lovely staff Sinbad and the owner Mike both very helpful, very sad to leave this lovely location. Cant wait to return in 2024.

A fantastic stay! We spent 6 nights in this idyllic location. It was absolutely beautiful to be staying in our villa surrounded by so much nature, it was so quiet and picturesque.
The Manager, Sinbad was very welcoming and pleasant and made our stay so enjoyable. It was great to get off the ferry and have her 'meet n greet' and drive us to the resort.
We met Daniel and his family who are the new owners. They were wonderful and ensured we had everything we needed.
We love Koh Phangan and will definitely be back in 2024 to stay here again 💓

We are a couple with two young kids.
We were disappointed by the location of the hotel and its policy towards children in room.

Location: the hotel is located on a hill above the village. To reach the hotel by car, you need a 4 wheels drive car. Normal taxis don't go, and you can't do it with a standard motorbike. These description information are not on the web site of the hotel, or on descriptions of reservation sites. So when you are up there, you have to walk down and up a path with steps to the village, quite hard with young children. Better not forget something in the room!

The view is beautiful but the swiming pool is small.

Policy towards children in room: the room we had reserved included a bed/ sofa in which we thought the children could sleep. But the manager (french just like us) told us there was a supplementary fee for the presence of children: 1000 THB per children and per night (26 euros). We didn't ask for an extra bed and the hotel doesn't propose breakfast... so we thought a raise of 50% of the price of the room just for the presence of two young children was not justified.
The french manager was very uncompromising justifying the extra costs by the standing of the hotel... we have travelled a lot throught Thailand and stayed in high standard hotels, but never had to face such nonsense. European management is not always a guaranty of better understanding!!

Overall the hotel is beautiful and clean, with a nice view, but it is overrated and largely overpriced, compared to high-end and mid-range hotels that are litteraly on the beach.

Dear matthieup35 Thank you for your reviews on both Trip Advisor and Agoda. Your comments on Agoda; ‘Beautiful surroundings, beautiful rooms and beautiful view’ were especially warming to us as was your comment on Trip Advisor ‘overall the hotel is beautiful and clean, with a nice view, We find, however, your comments about the access and number of guests somewhat confusing and misleading. Your booking was made on Agoda and you had booked a Studio Apartment which, as stated on Agoda, has a maximum occupancy of three persons. Your booking was for 2 persons and you had paid for 2 persons. It clearly states on the Agoda website that extra charges apply for more than 2 persons. When you and your family arrived you informed our manager that you were not willing to pay the extra charge of THB1000 per night for the use of the day bed and expected that your two children would be accommodated free of charge. We suggested that one of your children could sleep on the sofa/day bed and that we could supply and extra bed for your second child. There would however be a charge for this solution. You declined and ordered a taxi which collected you at our main entrance. You did not return and nor did you stay here and allow us to host you in our small piece of paradise. Our own website, www.kohphanganpavilions.com, clearly states ‘The location of Koh Phangan Pavilions, which affords amazing panoramic views, does mean that there are stepped areas which may prove troublesome for guests with limited mobility.’ A previous guest who had booked through Agoda comments in her review‘, It's on a steep hill, so if you have mobility issues, this might be difficult. My little boy who was 4 at the time struggled with the steps, but there was often entertainment on the way up to distract him from how many there where. I would definitely recommend this place, beautiful. Booking.com even has a photograph of the village walkway for all to see! Our normal procedure on receipt of a booking is to send a welcome e-mail to all guests. Agoda, unfortunately, does not allow us contact information and we have no means of communicating with Agoda guests until they arrive or contact us via our website which quite often happens. The welcome e-mail contains transfer information including the following: ‘Please note that during unfavourable weather conditions it may not be possible for some of the local 2-wheel drive taxis to navigate the last 200 metres of our road access. Should you encounter problems please ask the taxi driver to give us a call on one of the numbers noted below and to drop you off at ‘Rasta Baby’ in the village. Our short private village pathway starts here and we will be more than happy to collect you and/or your luggage if required.’ We hope that this clarifies some of your comments and we wish you a peaceful and relaxing time in Thailand. Kind regards, David and Tiep, Management Team, Koh Phangan Pavilions.

This was our second visit to KPP, the first being over 4 years ago. Our stay was even better this time, even though the weather wasn't. Was great to see that the property has been maintained so well, both inside and out, and was as clean as ever. The staff are friendly and helpful and we know we will return again! Loved our stay at KPP and are thrilled that it remains to be such an amazing place. Thank you!!!

This was a real highlight for our statin Thailand. There were four of us (including an 8 and 6 year old) and we were made wonderfully welcome in our beautiful apartment with stunning views over the bay. It was a short walk to the lovely village and beautiful beach (which was very child-friendly) although we ended up spending a large amount of time in the pool. Niki was incredibly helpful in getting a bag delivered that had been mislaid enroute by a local airline and could not have been more helpful or hard working. I would recommend Koh Phangan Oavilions to anyone, it really was perfect!

Dear Grüsse Anke, Thank you for contacting us and for your interest in Koh Phangan Pavilions and our serviced apartments. All of our apartments have kitchen facilities and breakfast are often prepared by our guests and eaten on the large balconies which all have fantastic panoramic views of the ocean and tropical rain forest vegetation. For those guests who prefer to eat out a two minute walk down our private village walkway leads to the delightful village of Thong Nai Pan Noi and a good selection of restaurants where breakfasts are readily available.
