My friends and I had been staying in hostels and what not right up til this part of our trip. Not being very fussy but this place looked awesome by the photos. Once arrived we found our bungalows windows nearly falling out, a dog inside our room, a broken fan, no lights or power points and even with all of... More

I was travelling with my girlfriend and our plan was to travel around Thailand with backpacks and that's what we did. We like to party as well, so Koh Phangan was certainly one of our destinations. In addition, we were not looking for luxury accommodation for cheapest price as possible, just practical and friendly place to stay. According pictures Leela... More

If you're looking for luxury you are not going to find it here! However if you're looking for a great location for the full moon party and it being right on a beach that's practically private then this is the place for you! Tip - if you're getting a taxi from the ferry ask them to take you to CocoHut... More

I'm a very laid back traveller so I thought this place would be great nice and simple but I got to the room and it stunk. There were dirty brown hand marks on the wall and black mold on the ceiling. And the bed sheets smelt dirty. I checked out straight away and notice other people doing the same.

Stayed for three nights. Literally a shed on the beach, you cannot access from the road. It is owned by Cocohut - which is weird as that resort looks beautiful, modern with a pool which you can use. Leela Beach is expensive for what it is. You can get nicer. Bathroom is a dump. Room is basic, smells strange. Wifi... More

Been there countless times. First time was in 2002. I was just relaxing on my hammock and was the king of the island;) as I was the only tourist paying for the bungalow (#3!!-the best on the island) on a monthly basis. Toured India for months and came to Thailand alone. Met my future Spanish wife there and decided to... More

The rooms were okay if you're just looking for a cheap place to stay. Don't expect much. The rooms are small and the sheets on the bed weren't clean. Other than that the view from the beachfront is nice. The rest of the rooms are horrible. I wouldn't stay here again.
