DO NOT EXPECT 5 STAR!!! and you will not be disappointed... haha but seriously. Rooms were basic and tidy with 50+ stairs .. cracks between the doors and floorboards for bugs to get in. StAff was helpful and kind. Pool and property was basic. Wifi was good

This hotel has the potential to be a lovely luxury resort, however it could do with some tender loving care. The location is great, up the side of a hill so you're out of all the hustle and bustle but can still see over it all, providing amazing views. You feel safe as the hotel is partly locked off in...

We spent a few nights here. It definitely was not luxury but it did the trick. Has a lot of potential for it would be taken care of properly. Wouldn't stay here if your not a fan of taking lots of stairs! Location was good.

Our experience at Phitharom was mixed. Here are some of the main pros and cons. Pros - Not far from the pier or the main town area - Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean - Staff are helpful and friendly - The overall feel is lovely and feels very rustic - Views from the rooms are great Cons -...

This hotel has so much potential, it's a real shame a few simple things (that can be easily fixed) let it down so badly. We booked a super deluxe room over Christmas, which was one of the highest rooms on the hillside, lots of people here are complaining about the stair climb - yes it was a bit strenuous but...

Located on the hillside of the main town. A bit of a rustic feel to the place. Checkin was welcoming and staff nice. Were upgraded to the hilltop room. As the rooms are on the hillside they all involve lots of stair climbing. We countred 145 steps to the top room. ;) It was very much worth the climb! Fantastic...

We were 3 female students who were looking for a more authentic chilled out island experience. After staying two nights at a party hostel we needed a relaxing break from the pumping music and 'ibiza party' feel. Phitharom hotel is so lovely, the reception staff are so helpful and speak very good English, they help you carry your bags from...

Customer service is just fantastic! Always greeted with a genuine smile. No breakfast , but in the morning they offer tea coffee biscuits bread with tomato/mayonaise and a nice area to relax. There is a pool but we didn't use it. Don't expect the inside of the room to be new and pretty; its not. BUT, it's super clean and...

It is very close to the heat of the town, but just far enough for some quiet time. The house keeping is perfect and the room is spacious. The facilities are old and simple, but you are not looking for fancy stuff, but don't want to feel cluttered this is a great option. If you are not in the mood...

Unfortunately this hotel kinda sucked. The hotel room needs work, the bathrooms are poorly built and probably my fault, but no tv? I unfortunately fell through some of the decking (completely sober) and made quite the mess of my leg. Lots of damage which will stop me training muay thai when i return to the mainland (min 3 weeks) I...
