Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

More like -3star becareful when booking this hotel. We arrived with the knowledge we had booked a deluxe villa but when arrived they placed us in some dark room with no lightbulbs not natural like room 104. It is the darkest room iv ever stayed in for one night. Wouldnt change room so we checked out and went to a much better hotel and cheaper pp princess staff more pleasnt there too. I would really not recommend this hotel. Towels also have a foul smell on if you want to see a manager be prepared to wait 4 hours! Such a shame when pictures look so nice online

We were staying in a room near the pool and closest to get out of the hotel. We got there everything was fine until we had to go out and our door wouldn’t lock properly, we told the security guy and he couldn’t do anything. So my boyfriend had to lock it by wrapping my bikini top round it. After 10 minutes I managed to lock it, then when we came back the door was broken, it had looked like some had tried to get into our room. (See image). Then to make the matter worse they kicked us out the hotel and charged us for the door, they’d called the police and was demanding our passports. They were very rude, and getting shouty and accusing us of breaking the door. They have offered no refund and did not even get to stay one night. And we do not complain ever!!

Terrible! Avoid at any cost if you are with family. December 2023 Pls refrain from booking this hotel. There are much better hotels just next to this. Sharing our experience so that other travellers especially with kids are cautious. The biggest showdown of this hotel is the front desk lady. She is thin, speaks broken English and is absolutely rude and atrocious behaviour. There are no lifts for the 3 storey building, so imagine your plight if you have baby. It’s surrounded by market, so the continuous loud noise is a killer. But most importantly, the biggest show down is the rude front desk staff.

This is the first time I have felt the need to leave a review and warn people about a hotel. The photos make this hotel look great and from the outside exterior it does look fine. When we checked in it was obvious the room they gave us hadn’t been cleaned properly, bed sheets covered in dirt, stains and a liquid all over the bed sheets, dead flies and bugs covered the bathroom and mould in the room. I understand this is a 3 star hotel but you would expect some level of cleanliness which this hotel did not give. We were then met by rude reception who handed over a key to a new room and nothing else said about the situation. The new room they have gave us did have clean bedding but also came with cockroaches and centipedes in the room. If I were deciding on where to stay in Phi Phi again I would avoid Coco Bella at all costs. Phi phi due to the tourism is a more expensive island, if I were to return I would avoid this hotel at all costs. I would spend the money to stay somewhere that cares about the standard of room they are presenting to their guests and does not expect paying customers to sleep in filth covered rooms.

Good location on Phi Phi island- 5 min walk to the beach. Friendly staff & the rooms are clean. There are plenty of mosquitoes so be sure to buy some repellent and keep the room doors closed at all times. Hanging out at the pool was super chill. You might hear some party music in the late hours of the night but its not too bad. They also have a restaurant and serve a buffet style breakfast which we had for two days. Thank you for hosting us.

We booked a bungalow including breakfast. Overall not bad, but some issues for sure. Pros: Great check in, even on early arrival Good location, but everything is concentrated on one stretch of beach so all hotels in the area are good locations Great A/C Breakfast was average, but the egg station was very good Nice pool Cons: Small room with very little storage or hanging room Shower splashes over around the toilet area (but this is common in Thailand) Lighting is terrible especially in the bathroom that has no window Now here's where they lost points. Only one roll of toilet paper. They have no problem bringing more, but why not have one extra from the start? Then our fridge died. They said it would take days to get another, and that the resort was full so they couldn't take one from an empty room. We thanked them for trying and would deal with it. So as an alternative, we asked for some ice. They said I could go buy ice at the store. I suggested they provide it in lieu of us not having a fridge. Then they started showing me pictures of knives on a cell phone. Was this a threat? Turns out they were accusing us of damaging the freezer with a knife causing the fridge to shut down. I asked to speak to the manager. They called him, but told me he was sleeping (time was 20:00). Seeing I was not letting this go, suddenly there were spare fridges available. They put one in and all was good. Bizarre sequence of events. So that was my major beef. If that didn't happen the rating would be better.

The room was clean and serviced well, The king bed was Amazing. 3 levels up to rooms in the centre of the hotel "NO LIFTS" So if you like NO stairs book ground level. breakfast buffet adequate. Pool nice place to relax. About 700 metres walk from jetty, staff await near MacDonalds with luggage trolley on arrival for bag transport to hotel, tipping required, Busy area with clubs, can be noisy boom boom music late at night, if you like quite not for you, over all good price, good stay.

We felt like we were staying at The White Lotus… The bag carrying guy was the best part of our stay here, what a legend!! There was also 1 friendly reception lady who works in they day! On check in we were provided with 1 room key which operates power to your room, the key to open your door is soldered to the air con fob so cannot be removed. We asked for a second key to be able to keep the room cool whilst we are out as well as keep fridge running and other electrical appliances, we were told flat out no and if we break the key we would be fined! This meant for our whole stay we were not able to lock our room. If you stay here don’t expect to be coming home to a cold drink and cool room! The calibre of guests staying at this resort were all questionable characters!?!?!? One guy would walk around blasting his piano concerto music from a portable speaker professing he’s love for everyone. The next questionable guests were a family with a little boy! I watched this kid from my balcony drown 3 times and pulled from the pool then watched the male be physically assaulted, punched and kicked by assumed his female partner on 3 separate occasions that day, they were screaming and fighting into the night!! I felt really unsafe here and I did not see the staff do anything about this situation. There were a few other guest but I think you get my drift, the only thing missing was a death Also breakfast was average at best, warm yogurt with warm fruit… and I wasn’t allowed to take my coffee up to my room, they wouldn’t let me leave with the cup even though I am staying in the resort.

The lady on reception is rude and useless never seems behind the desk only to be across the road with her mate stuffing her face with food the only nice staff at this hotel was Air who carried our bags to and from the pier a very friendly meet and greet from him. The rooms are pretty good for what you pay but I didn’t expect to have to put tabaco in the safe we have a 50g taken from off the side in the room.
