We loved our stay! We stayed in the villa for 3 weeks and we loved everything about it. The place was super clean, peaceful and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a scooter to ride around in but they also offered taxi service. It was a great little getaway away from the hustle and backpacker vibe of Sairee Beach and only 10 min walk to Chalok Bay Beach which is great for swimming. There’s also an abundance of restaurants nearby and a supermarket.

Incredibly kind staff and amazing facilities!! They were all so kind, I got very unwell whilst I was here and they were incredibly kind making sure I had everything and more I needed. The rooms were spotless, shower and Wi-Fi were very good and the bed was extremely comfortable. Air conditioning was also very welcome, I stayed for a month and couldn’t fault anything.

This place has two type of rooms, standard and deluxe. Standard rooms are very basic but still ok. Bed is comfortable and the worst to me is the bathroom cause everything gets wet when you shower. On the other hand you have a nice terrace to chill on these rooms. Deluxe rooms are much better in my opinion, especially the ones that are on the ground floor cause they also have a nice terrace to use. Deluxe rooms are ample, very comfortable, with a decent bathroom and back patio to hang your wet clothes (pretty convenient in Thailand due to humidity). The hotel also offers a free shuttle to the port per stay, which is also very convenient. Be aware that if you want to pay by credit card there is a 3% additional charge that apply (but is the rule in the whole island). Location is ok. If you want to go to scuba dive to the clubs that are by the port and don’t have a bike it will take you less than 20 mins walk, so it is pretty decent. 10 minutes walking from the hotel there is also a place called Koppee Café pretty recommended because it has a free pool by the beach if you eat/drink something there (and the place is pretty cozy and nice).

We have recently decided to extend our Koh Tao stay as we live in China and the current situation is far from ideal either the corona virus.

We chose the greenery as was cheap and close by.

The rooms are fine, basic but fine what you would expect for £20 a night.

The real problem here for me is the terrible rude receptionist. She is quite simply horrible. Short temper, bad attitude, unhelpful and aggressive, quite simply the total opposite of what a hotels first impression should be.

The management here should talk a serious look at themselves.

No matter how cheap it’s not acceptable.

There are plenty of affordable places to stay on Koh Tao. AVOID THIS ONE.

My partner and I had a pleasant stay at the Greenery Resort. We had been staying in hostels prior to this, so it was nice to have the privacy of our own room. We didn't stay on the typical Greenery site; rather about 50m down the road on their other site. It was perfectly pleasant, and beautifully decorated with flowers. The room was also decorated well. The bed was a little uncomfortable (came across as cheap - even in comparison to some hostels) but still managed to sleep. Bathroom was adequate. Lovely terrace outside. We did have a TV in our room, but it didn't really work. The wifi signal tended to be really strong, only cutting out a few times. Note that the location is FAR from Sairee beach, so be warned - you will need to walk a bit or hire a scooter. There are some lovely restaurants around the area and we would recommend a visit to the local mini golf course.

Rooms are ok , but the staff is very unfriendly . We were overcharged because we checked out one hour late. Of course it's written in the hotel policy , but hotel was totally empty because of the full moon in Koh Phangan . And impossible to discuss .

First time in Thailand that something like this happen to me. Avoid this please , you might be overcharged for any detail , because of the greedy staff. I am pretty sure she kept the overcharge for her, and didn't give it back to the owner .

When you arrive there is a group of rooms closer to the road that look like the hotel you saw online but no check in. One of the staff took pity on me and came to tell me checkin was further down the road at what is a differently named hotel I think? Would be nice if they'd put up even a small sign that said "check in 50m ->"

The rooms (at least in the terrace area closer to the main road) are large-ish and overall quite pleasant but the bed was really cheap and collapsed a bit on one side, glad I was travelling solo and no one had to use that. Bathroom is badly set up even by thai standards, impossible to not get the toilet completely soaked (including the paper) every time you turn on the shower nozzle but there is at least a water heater.

They do have TVs but they don't work particularly well and don't really have any non-thai content (a rarity in places I've stayed in Thailand this trip.) Some of the rooms appear to have a mosquito net for the little terrace in front but not all.

The bad:

The location itself isn't great, you're up on the hill and if you're in the terracey area you don't have a view of anything but a beer distribution yard but at least the terrace is pleasant enough. It's a long walk in either direction for a view of the sea but if you're staying here a while you may be renting a scooter. I do feel like for the location it could be a bit cheaper though. The walk up from the Sairee end of things is not one I'd do after dark though as there is no sidewalk and lots of people drive absolutely mentally.

A resort shuttle ride into Sairee was only 200B, but when I checked out to leave a ride to the (significantly closer) ferry dock was 300B which seemed a little skeevy. There's also a fairly excessive 1000B key deposit. One of the days I was sleeping in I'd only just gotten up for a shower when the maid repeatedly tried to get in the room, you'd think the slide bolt being done up would be a hint but she kept rattling the door at a volume I could hear over the shower. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful though.

(On my last night there there was some sort of night market/talent competition? in a nearby area and the sound was cranked up to ear splitting. I'm not sure if it happens every saturday night but it was pounding music and occasionaly VERY amateur singing until 2am. I would have been very upset had my 5am wakeup for diving been that day.)

Wonderful resort. Very friendly staff, clean room with a perfekt view from the terrace. Just look at the pictures! The beach was easily reachable in a few minutes by walking.
Only the wifi didn't worked that good sometimes.
Would stay there again!
