Great service and delicious cafe. Animal friendly with young kittens, wonderful humane experience. Nicky also booked our boat tickets, and transfer from the pier. It took me 5 minutes to organise the trip. Thanks a lot! We’ve been twice and will be back for sure ☺️🌸

Such a warm and welcoming place! I stayed in a private room which was so spacious, tidy, and great views! The staff were extremely helpful and organised a cooking class for myself and friend which was an amazing experience. The other guests were also really friendly. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable Hostel with an excellent location. The common area is perfect to socialize and the staff is also amazing. Everyone was supporting and helped you if you needed something. Would defenetely recommend to stay there!

If you want a great time at Koh tao - then stay at Summer! It is not a party hostel but there is a Supermarket next to it where you can buy beers or anything you want. So you can still enjoy something at the common area with the other guys who are sitting there. The volunteers Matt and Bastian are two of the nicest persons I have meet on my solo travel so far. They made the atmosphere at the hostel really good and it felt like home. So if you want to sleep at night but still enjoy a beer with some nice people and maybe go to a bar/club at 23 (where the hostel must be quiet) or just go to bed - then stay at Summer!

Very enjoyable 4 night at Summer Guesthosue. Staff were super friendly and helpful with organising transport, recommendations and dealing with a sunburn or two (thanks to Ae and Apple)! Fun barbecue organised for residents too

Absolutely loved it here. Staff are super friendly + helpful, location is excellent, atmosphere perfect for getting to know new people without being too overwhelming. A very cozy yet sociable vibe, and definitely a highlight of our time in Thailand.

The summer guesthouse really excels at creating a nice atmosphere for all guests and does a great job of bringing people together. There is a very big hangout area that allows everyone to get to know each other. The staff is very helpful, really friendly, and will organize all sorts of activities from diving courses (including discount) to ferry and bus rides back to Bangkok at normal prices (or cheaper). I highly recommend going there if you are looking for a relaxed stay on Koh Tao that also allows for fun nights out with many friendly people.

I would highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Koh Tao. It’s in the right location just a short walk from all the main bars and restaurants but no so close that you are kept up all night. It has a big 24 hour supermarket directly opposite which I found very useful. They keep the place very clean and tidy cleaning the social areas multiple times a day. The best part by far about summer is definitely the people running it they couldn’t do more to help with everything whilst we stayed there they were incredible. If you’re staying in Koh Tao don’t stay anywhere else!
