The best place to stay on Koh Tao .. close enough to walk down the hill and into town and far enough away for complete peace and tranquility.. Was meant to stay 4 nights in the Rock Villas in Koh Tao but ended up extending to 7 nights. An absolute incredible place with amazing views. This is perfect for those looking for a more luxurious style of living whilst in Koh Tao but still be fairly central. The accommodation is located a good bit above sea level meaning the views are amazing however for those who might struggle walking, it is not suitable. There are 2 guys that rent mopeds at the bottom of the hill, they are great, really reasonable priced and super friendly! 10/10 experience. Lovely pool, Lovely rooms, Great Aircon and a great host named Gaynor who was beyond helpful.

Spacious and well appointed Bungalows with the best view in Koh Tao! Tucked away in a tropical jungle (it was even hard to find) makes these villas incredibly quiet, peaceful and truly magical! The infinity-edge pool was the icing on the cake and I take full credit for finding such a gem amongst a myriad of accom on KT!

We loved our stay. The place was magical and the host was so sweet and helpful. We had fruit bats flying outside and a view to die for. The place was simple and beautiful. We snorkeled with black-tipped sharks and rented scooters. The island was small enough to get around easily. We would love to go back!

Amazing stay, just like the photos! Such a surreal view over the island and the pool was lovely and refreshing, so peaceful. The accommodation was super clean, well maintained and spacious. There were lots of little touches like coffee pods, toiletries and beach towels. Host was so responsive and always happy to help. Only tiny downside is the uphill walk to the place- get a bike or enjoy the mini walk like I did! It is totally worth the 10 minute walk into the centre and beach! I would definitely stay again.

The villa is a dream, very spacious, super terrace with magnificent views. Very nice small pool. Quiet location but close enough to the party mile and local dive schools. The service is excellent. Fresh water every day, daily thorough cleaning and a very nice hostess who welcomed us very friendly, gave tips and was always available for us. Which we did not need, because everything was perfect! You should be a little fit if you want to reach the villa on foot, because the path is already steep and provided with some stairs. But was announced by the hostess, so this only as info. Recommendation!!!!!!!!!! Thank you

Out of all the lovely villas we booked on our month long trip between Koh Phangan, Koh Samui and Koh Tao this villa ended up as our favourite. Set up above with an amazing view this villa offers complete privacy and just the nicest vibe. The deck is beautiful with its Thai style wood beams. Easy scooter rental access on the way up to the villa. Our hosts gave us so many recommendations as to what beaches to go to and what restaurants to eat at we feel we made the most out of our 3 nights. We wished we had had more time here as it is a very special place.

Janine's colleague, Josefine, looked after us during our stay and could not have been more helpful. She stayed in constant communication and nothing was too much trouble. The villa itself was lovely with a breathtaking view of the ocean and felt luxurious. It is up a very steep hill, so be prepared to use a lot of taxis or hire a motorbike, but that does mean it's very peaceful and private. Plus, the hosts provide you with a phone and taxi numbers, so getting a taxi is super easy. The only thing that wasn't ideal was that the Aircon is only in the bedroom and wasn't particularly strong, however I put that down to Koh Tao being an island with limited power, and once you had a fan and Aircon, it was absolutely fine. 100% would recommend and would go again, beautiful property, fantastic hosts!…

Janine was very kind and useful, she really puts a lot of effort and love into what she is doing. House has an amazing view and full privacy. You can hear and feel nature everywhere around you, all in all, great value for money, I would strongly recommend this place.

Lovely hosts and staff. Amazing view, secluded and tranquil location, you can enjoy your privacy. Provided other guests are considerate to others then it is heaven for peace and quiet lovers. You're surrounded by lush green trees so expect to see and hear other inhabitants of the location - except annoying ants, all of them are a great bonus to the place:) We have stayed in the Rocks Villas for a month, so got used to really steep driveway and then a steep walk to the villa (we had the upper villa), but if you don't feel comfortable with riding a bike than better get in shape before your trip:) Downsides - not even worth mentioning:)
