You find us at the north end strip of Sairee Beach. Palm Leaf offers the best view at the bay with its grey boulders and the colourful sea. Just a 5 min walking distance away from the village, it is still a very calm and private place to be. Moreover it is the only snorkeling side at Sairee beach.Set in a nice garden our lovingly furnished bungalows and rooms await your arrival.

Palm leaf was the perfect resort for us as we wanted to have a relaxing week in beautiful surroundings.
Palm leaf is laid back, friendly and one of the more beautiful resorts on the island.
Being at the quiet end of sairee beach meant ot was peaceful but if you wanted to go to the lively part it's only a short walk along the seashore.
The design of the resort is very sympathetic to the island and the huts are so charming.
The staff are fantastic, friendly and very efficient. Anything we needed was not a problem and they were really helpful with any advice for things to do on the island.
The prices of things such as scooter hire, taxi to ferry and food and drinks were very competitive with general prices on the island.
I would highly recommend palm leaf to anyone looking for a more quiet laid back koh tao experience.
I will certainly be returning.

Amazing location - feels like you have a private beach, the sun is constantly on the sun beds through the day, and the sea is so warm.

The rooms are really nice with great AC and towels for beach and shower topped up daily, plus two bottles of water in the fridge.

The bar does lovely food and has happy hour with very nice cocktails.

The staff are very helpful and you can get your washing done with the hotel the same day.

Would recommend to anyone visiting Koh Tao and will hopefully be returning.

We stayed for three weeks, my grown-up daughter and myself,
In dire need for a relaxing holiday. Well, we came to the right spot.
Comfortable bungalow right on the beach, friendly and helpful staff,( with a special mention to Fon at the reception) , confortable beach loungers with just the right amount of shade. A great snorkelling spot with lots of colorful fish right outside. The hotel has a restaurant, but if you want variety, there is a number of restaurants an easy beach stroll away.

I had a negative experience with Palm Leaf Resort when I accidentally booked a room, due to misleading information, that wasn't aligned with my travel route. Within TWO HOURS of making the reservation, I promptly canceled and requested a refund of the $350 I had paid. Despite explaining the situation in a formal letter, the resort refused to refund me, displaying a lack of understanding and empathy towards a genuine human error. Their rigid and unyielding approach, prioritizing monetary gain over customer service, left me deeply dissatisfied. I caution others to be wary of Palm Leaf Resort's poor customer service and suggest they explore alternative options that prioritize customer satisfaction.

Fabulous location on the quieter end of Sairee Beach. Perfect for snorkelling. Crystal clear sea. Just a 10/15 min walk to some lovely beach bars and restaurants. I don’t normally like to give poor reviews but feel I need to be honest about our experience. Unfortunately our accommodation was very disappointing. Building rubble on entry and around the grounds. We paid for a delux sea view bungalow but ours was facing the reception and restaurant . No privacy. We had to keep curtains closed. And very noisy with motorbike hire. Our bungalow needed updating. We asked to move but were refused. We felt very much like ‘Tourist Fodder’. The only time we were spoken to was to either sell us a trip or ask where we were going if we didn’t chose to eat breakfast at the resort which was not included. We spent six nights here purely down to location. As we left we were refused free transportation back to the ferry port as we booked our boat through an agency and not Palm Leaf. We were charged another 200 thb. Much more customer care needed here.

We had an amazing experience here in koh tao and extremely happy to have stayed here! The resort is right on the beach front and we opted for the beachfront villa which was so worth it. Great scenery with the sea and then the jungle right behind. 10 minute walk to the busy part of koh Tao just along the beach with plenty of restaurants for dinner. Also cheap scoter rentals from the resort. They also pick you up from the pier and take you back - great service.

I really want to review the Palm Leaf Cafe which is a part of Palm Leaf Resort. As a family we ate there a number of times and were always satisfied. They have the best tom yum koong I've ever had (and I've had many), but other dishes (stir fried and curries) were very good as well. Overall, highly recommended.

We stayed here as our base on Koh Tao as we were attending a wedding nearby. The facilities exceeded our expectations. We were made to feel very welcome by Fon upon our arrival. Our room was serviced daily, including fresh towels for both the room and the beach. Cannot rate Palm Leaf Resort highly enough as a base to visit Koh Tao. Thankyou to Fon for an amazing stay, we will be returning.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Palm Leaf for three nights and absolutely loved it. We had our own bungalow with a king-sized bed, a view of the water and our own balcony. It was even nicer than the pictures and felt truly luxurious.

The location was perfect. We were a 5-10 minute walk from the busy area of Sairee, close enough to be convenient but far enough to get away from the noise at night.

The staff was absolutely wonderful, so nice and helpful! When we arrived at Mae Haad Pier, they had a taxi waiting for us to take us to our bungalow. Check in was fast and easy. Near the end of our stay, we realized we had booked our ferry ride too close to our flight (so we probably wouldn't have made our flight)-- we asked the staff about this and one of the staff members called the ferry company to ensure that we could switch our ticket to an earlier ferry.

Lastly, we were so impressed by how kind and honest the staff was. I forgot a gold necklace in the safety deposit box in the room when we left and within an hour or two, Fon emailed me and let me know (Fon is SO nice and helpful!). She even sent it in the mail to our next hotel that day!

We absolutely loved everything about Palm Leaf and would recommend it to anyone looking for something more upscale but still with a laid-back beachy vibe. We hope to return someday!
