We arrived as thousands of litres of water was heading through the reception/ restaurant, the main road going to Montalay Beach resort had power cables down, land slides, water shooting up out of the road. Crazy crazy times.... But even in this disaster we could see what a lovely hotel we had chosen. And the spirit of the staff was...

We were only on Koh Tao for 3 days, and it rained the entire time so naturally we spent most of it on the resort. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and the resort was really beautiful and well kept, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! On our last day the rain started coming...

The hotel is great, the room are big and beautiful! I totally recommend this hotel. BUT never rent motobike at the small shop closed to the hotel. The guy is thief! And because he has your passport he knows that you will pay whatever he wants. He was also insulting. Be really careful !

My dad and I had planned on staying six nights, luckily when we arrived we agreed to only four and that was TOO MUCH. The staff was extremely rude, no one was helpful nor did they want to be. We showed up off the ferry and while it was dumping rain were pushed onto the back of a "taxi truck"...

The staff personal was very nice to me (dont understand the comments about unfriendly personal). I would come back, stayed five days and really enjoyed...

He is very experienced with regard to diving, fish and we had some good talks. Thank you for giving us an unforgettable experience. We did not stay at Montalay but food there was...

Food at the restaurant was good. Highlight was the Tanote Bay, kids had fun Snorkeling and tons of fish to see, with the main reason for choosing...

Stayed here for a week, free taxi from pier to the hotel which was nice. Snorkelling is amazing here and has good wifi in the hotel to be fair, these are the only good things. Taxi service is an absolute joke, 4 taxis only in the 1 day with the last one being at 5pm, makes you have to plan...
