We really loved staying at Chalisa Villa. Reasonably priced and the perfect place to lounge around and relax. The pool and garden were lovely and our Villa was very private. A short walk down to the main strip. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and made themselves available at any time if needed. We had four nights here at the end of our Thailand trip and we liked that the bedroom was separate from the cosy and comfortable living area (with a great TV). I highly recommend Chalisa villas. We liked being slightly further away from the hustle and bustle of Sairee but close enough to walk (8 minutes). We choose this place after a lot of research and were very happy with the value for money. It's not exactly a 'luxury' villa but everything about it was perfect for our needs... We loved it!

This villa was in the perfect place to explore Koh Tao. Close enough to the Sairee area to walk but extremely quiet. The outdoor area was really lovely and the inside was very clean and comfortable. An added bonus was having a wonderful manager who made sure all aspects of my trip went smoothly. I would highly recommend this property.

I recently stayed at the villa with my husband and our 9 month old daughter. I must say...we got so used to the villa that it felt like home. Many hanks to Belynda who organized our stay smoothly and Nikki, who was waiting at the villa for our arrival was beyond helpful, always there when we needed her. She pretty much had all the answers to our questions of where to go and things we can or can't do with an infant. The villa was fully equipped, we were even provided with a microwaveable baby bottle sterilizer which was absolutely brilliant! The villa and pool were cleaned thoroughly everyday. The bed was very cozy. We had a great selection of movies to watch when it was raining really hard to go out. There was enough menus to order in. Or the kitchen to make a quick meal.

A few steps away from the villa you'll find a small store that has all the main essentials and 100ft away there's a laundry that always had the clothes clean and smelling wonderful for a very cheap price!

The beach, shops and restaurants are a fifteen minute walk from the villa which was convenient for us and the baby.

The wifi wasn't that great, always disconnecting. The only downside for us was no AC in the living room, only in the bedrooms. At the beginning it was a bit difficult to get used to the heat with an infant around, but after few days our bodies adjusted.

All in all, it was a superb getaway away from home that felt like home. We'd definitely recommended this place to all and most likely come back for a second visit soon.

Hi I am a Dj and I have recently returned from a tour of Asia. While in Thailand Koh Tao the promoter had arranged for me to stay at the Alila Villas instead of the usual hotel....I wasn't sure what to expect as i like to have the servicesH a hotel normally provides. I can honestly say that I was not disappointed ....the villas were brilliant...absolutely spotless, tastefully furnished and very comfortable ....the pictures on Trip Advisor give a good idea of what the villas are like. It was near to the local shops and beach. But more than that Balynda the owner was there to meet us and to give us really helpful information about the local area....she and her staff couldn't have been more friendly. As a Dj I have travelled the world with Radio 1 and stayed in the top hotels but if I went back to Koh Tao There is no doubt that I would choose to stay at the Alila Villas again.

Excellent location to relax, 10 min walk to main area. Help always a phone call away, good advice and support. Introduction to the villa was detailed and included advice on what we wanted to do with our time. Nicki was able to use her local knowledge to point us in the right direction.
They have a regular taxi driver that doesn't over charge.
Would recommend the hog roast takeaway, good value and just around the corner.
An ideal place for our short stay and especially anyone that wants to be just slightly out of the main area.

We are a couple and we stayed 5 nights at Chalisa in feb, 2017.
The house is woderfull in space and confort. Bed is amazing, bedroom is quite big with AC (AC in the bedroom is very noisy and should be fixed!). Living room and kitchen are huge for a couple, with AC and a huge confortable sofa. The Kitchen has all basic itens you need.
Shower is good with plenty of water.
Nikki received us with a lot of suggestions, hints and advices about Koh Tao, what really helped us during that days.
Daily Room service is available.
In our house (I don't know the other ones) there was a private swimming pool, that we used a lot, mainly at noon when sun is very strong.

So, why not an Excellent rating but a Very Good? Two days before our arrival they sent us an email asking if we would like a free transfer from the pier. Of course I returned that yes, we would. But nobody was there wainting for us and there were dozens of taxi drivers shouting at you and trying to take your baggage. The problem is that most of then speak almost no english and have no Idea where Chalisa Villas is! When I asked on of them, he said he knew the location of the villa, but arriving at Sairee Beach they wanted to leave us more than 500 meters from the Villa. After asking a lot of people we finally found the Villa after 1,5 hour and... there was nobody to receive us.
We have been knocking all the doors for more than 30 minutes until another guest listened to us and help calling Nikki.
After 8 hours of trip from Bangkok, it was definitely a terrible (no) reception.
I strongly suggest that you provide a taxi from the pier for all your guests as rule... and that you wait for them at the Villa.

The villa is located in silent place ~700 m from the beach and you'll be away from the noisy and busy streets of Sairee.

Despite that arriving issues, we had a very nice stay.

We stayed here for 5 nights and was so glad we found this amazing villa. It was a very good size and was spotless inside. You have got everything you could ever need for your stay including beach bag, towels and snorkeling equipment. Even down to the little extras in the bathroom incase you forget anything from home. We had a cleaner come in everyday to tidy around and check the pool for us. The lady owner Belynda was lovely and was at the villa to welcome us and showed us how everything worked and we're to eat/visit on our stay. The villa is a little walk off the main street so you don't here any noise. We would defiantly stay here again on our next visit to Ko Tao.

We stayed here as two couples and found that this villa was excellent value for money, especially in the low season. We were impressed by the size of the place and the privacy of the pool and outside area. The weather wasn't the best when we were there, so the catalogue of films and television came in handy. Nikki was also a great help; really friendly and always there to give advice or organise anything that we needed. The only issue with the place was that the wifi was a bit temperamental, although it's meant to be like that over the whole island. Overall we had a great time in Koh Tao and that was largely due to Chalisa Villas.
