This is a wonderful little hotel, full of character and quirky design features and despite the steps (182 from our Pavilion room to the pool) the location, service and amenities are first class. Don't expect anything like the usual international chain hotels, this place is really different and the staff are completely charming. Yes there is the occasional mishap due...

We stayed at the resort for one night as a birthday treat (break from 6 weeks travelling)! Despite us turning up with ruck sacks and looking a little out of place - the staff still treated us like royalty. The room was out of this world, the food in the restaurant was amazing, the treatments were super relaxing and the...

Just dont come if you are averse to stairs! Great boutique hotel with fab design. Book a pavilion room for better location. Well situated and with beautiful views. Food is really good except perhaps breakfast which is limited and not to the same std. Service is correct but not great.

It's the perfect location to take that romantic or relaxing holiday! Seamlessly incorporated into nature, it has spectacular sea-views. The rooms are spacious, meticulous, tastefully decorated. The resort offers fantastic diving excursions, while snorkelling is possible just in front of the hotel with a vast variety of marine life, including reef sharks. Kayaks are also available. To get to the...

We spent 3 nights there. The whole resort looks like an architectural artwork; just amazing. Everything is integrated into surrounding nature. Just jump into the water and you will see sharks (friendly ones), coral reefs and all kind of colorful fishes. All rooms have amazing sea view and are nice furnished. TV receives vide range of channels, own DVD rental,...

Stayed here for 4 nights a few Aprils ago. This really is a beautiful hotel, the grounds are well kept and the location is stunning. The dirt track up to the hotel is a real challenge, some of the path had been washed away when I stayed here and some of it was hair raising. I saw one of the...

What can I say about this place except that near perfection has been achieved. This is the most beautiful resort you will ever find. There are stairs, yes. If this bothers you, request a room closer to the pool. And you may experience mix ups at reception - keep a smile on your face and remember you are in Thailand...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in March 2013 and we had a great time. Let me start with the positives. The hotel is one of the best on the island and is a far cry from the generic resorts and backpacker friendly accommodation options typically found on Koh Tao. It is set in sharks bay so...

Jamahkiri is by far one of the best resorts we stayed at on our recent trip to Thailand. Things we loved: - Upon arrival by ferry, Jamahkiri staff were already waiting for us at the pier to transfer us to the resort (for free!) which was a massive surprise considering we had not previously organised this. - The views from...
