Amazing value for your money (400 for fan bungalow). I will never go back to Sairee! Basic bungalows with cold water, but nice location and very friendly staff - always smiling! Just over the corner is small mini market and beach is across the street. Chalok town is about 5 minutes walk. This is my place on Koh Tao!

PLEASE READ REVIEWS BELOW AS THEY HAD A VERY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE. I had a lovely time here, the staff were friendly, lent us free snorkelling masks (although they were children's sizes). The rooms were very dim and dusty and lots of mosquito bites in the morning! However we enjoyed the rooms and the little verandas on which we would burn... More

I was accosted by the violent Thai woman who runs this place! I was supposed to stay for 3 nights, but after one night I left because I was so scared. I mean scared for my life kind of scared. She yelled at me in front of other customers and threaten me all because I ask for clean towels. She... More

Stayed for 2 nights. Ok room for 1000. The receptionist is a wonderfull lady, smiles all the time and is eager to help you with whatever your problem is. We lives in a room with no AC, so the only minus will be that they dont have mosquito netting over the beds. Otherwise a great place!

Stayed about a week at Bhora Bhora Resort for 400B ($12) a night which included two twin beds, a fan, and hot water. The room was clean, albeit needed some minor fixes. The staff were nice and answered what questions they could despite speaking broken English. The hotel is located in a more mellow part of the island than the... More

The rooms are cheap and have the potential to be quirky. But overall are not well kept, dirty, damp and dark. The path leading to rooms are very dark and rocky- unsafe. My main issue was with one of the female members of staff. When I made request in relation to my room she ignored me and carried on talking... More

VERY HORRIBLE STAY. The huts we stayed in were nice, a problem was with the toilet system. There was a constant lingering smell. The main issue for us were the UNPROFESSIONAL VIOLENT STAFF. On our final night we asked the manager and bar attendant at Rasta Bar (which is attached to the accommodation) for toilet paper for the room. The... More

Rooms are tiny and dark, also smell of mold and have many mosquitos. The bed sheets and towels were old and stained. We ate in the restaurant and the food made me and my girlfriend sick (ended up at a clinic in need of medicine) Staff was rude when we complained that our fan did not work properly. The bar... More

I have spent a good deal of time in various part of Thailand, and I've never been so disappointed by the service and attitudes of the staff of an establishment. I stayed only 1 night and decided I did not want to ruin my time in Koh Tao by being surrounded by such negative energy. In addition, the bungalow itself... More

While the location in Chalok Bay is lovely, Bhora Bhora was pretty awful. The rooms are tiny and dark, as are the bathrooms. We paid 500THB a night for nothing more than a room with two beds and an old fan that didn't even swivel a full 360 degrees. They only cleaned the room every 4 days and the service... More
