I don’t know why it is Guest house I think it is hotel. I stayed there for 3 nights. Nice big clean room with big balcony without any view but I thing it is OK because no any noise from outside the hotel ( walking people, boats on the river and etc.) . Comfortable mattress, pillows. We came to Nong Khai late in the afternoon and from an earlier visit this year we checked if there was a room available. We had the room in front on the ground floor. This room even has a little balcony. They placed an extra mattrass on the floor for our son. This is a friendly guesthouse with very clean... More

A simple guesthouse with few facilities. Nice clean spacious comfortable room. Complimentary hot drinks but no breakfast or food available, but that's no problem. Situated on the promenade with a great view across the Mekong River towards Laos, there are plenty of places for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friendly helpful hosts and staff, bicycles available (they never charged me, so... More

I made a booking through an agency for a 3 night stay based on the information on the Pan Guesthouse website. They promoted their balcony views and a price tag of 500TBH. The reality is that if you pay that amount what you get is a room out the back with NO balcony and NO view. The balcony and view... More

This small guesthouse is located on the esplanade with the central attractions of Nong Khai being on your doorstep. Such incredible value for its location, friendly manager and really comfortable beds. There is a 2nd story sitting area where you can look out onto the mighty Meekong River and watch the world go past. I went there by foot, was... More

I booked a room at the Pan GH through Agoda and requested a room overlooking the Mekong river. When I checked I was given a room a the back of the GH with a view of wall. I stayed here for my second day in Nongkai after I passed it by and checked out some reviews about it. The stay overall was beyond expectations. Firstly, it's just next to the market and close to the vibrant area of the city. Besides, it's just by the Mekong River. The sunset appreciated from the balcony was fantastic. Secondly, I... More

We arrived on the 19th, May hoping to stay 2 nights. We'd booked online for THB425 per night. On arrival they told us the website was very old and the price was THB700 per night. I double checked and the site was still on. We stayed for the night and then went to a different place. It's sad when we... More
