We stayed for 3 nights in a room underneath the dining room. The hotel looks lovely especially the outside; the gardens, swimming pool and views are just beautiful. The room was good, the shower was the best we’ve had in our travels, hot and powerful. The location is good, just out of the centre about a 15 min walk, although they offer a shuttle service we never used it. There is a cafe opposite and a restaurant about 50m away.
The only criticism we have is the breakfast. It looked lovely and with a lot of variety BUT it was cold; cold eggs, sausage, rice,, vegetables. I gave up and had cereal! We told reception who apologised but nothing changed in the 3 days. A real shame as it’s a lovely place.

As a common Traveler i have been to worst places, Yoma is not a bad place to stay for a few days. But Yoma is in a small Town in the middle of now where in the mountains of Thailand. The town is one of many places in Thailand where the living cost is low and affordable for anyone staying here. The Prices for a room in Yoma is a bit above average for its location and quality of the rooms.

The rooms, well they will check you in a room other then what you want and actually lie in front of your face and tell you that the rooms that you want are all taken, even the the entire resorts is empty. The rooms don't have a nice decor other then the plain unpainted concrete walls, and the window view of the Green Mountains. The rooms are still comfortable to stay, and the bathrooms have a nice view of the farm land and mountain side as one takes a shower.

The service is okay, but not so good, its one of those thing , Don't bother us and we wont bother you.

The Breakfast, is the typical Thai International Continental breakfast, or rice soup with ground pork balls. For Breakfast there were other really good restaurants with really good Home made breakfast (Witching Well) Best pancakes and scramble eggs in Pai..

The view of the mountains and the farm worker,I guess it was okay. Other than that, can recommend this resort but would also recommend to do your research on other as well.

We had x2 double deluxe rooms. Upon our arrival we were taken to our rooms. The grounds are very nice and our rooms were very clean, comfortable and the bathroom was particularly nice. After settling in we decided to look around and see the pool area, only to find that the pool was being fixed and so we couldn't use it.

We were annoyed because the main attraction of this hotel was the pool, especially for our children. Having explained that we would be seeking a new place to stay, no one contacted us about the pool, the hotel moved us to another one of their hotels, with a functioning pool, just around the corner. They had in fact upgraded our stay to a better hotel. Had the pool been working I no doubt that our stay here would have been nice.

Lovely hotel, perfect walking distance from Pai centre. Free shuttle also offered.

Breakfast is fresh and delicious. Big mugs for coffee, large bowls for cereal. Eggs made to order.

Loved the finishing touches, robes, local soaps and herbal washes.

Room is perfect, views to die for.

Absolute value for money, would certainly book every time.

My baby catered for with extra water, towels and a huge comfy cot.

We stayed three nights in a clean spacious room with terrace that had a mountain view. The hotel was quiet allowing for a very relaxing few days and the occasional dip in the pool. The downside of our stay was the breakfast. There was a fair amount to choose from (same dishes each day), however, the hot dishes were either lukewarm or stone cold. My wife did indicate this on the first morning but nothing changed. The removal of dirty plates is non-existent and the same bird feathers and little scraps of garbage remained for two days on the dining area floor.

Other than the breakfast being a disappointment the hotel is okay for a short stay when in Pai.

Location and hotel ground :
Very peaceful and picturesque location, surrounded by greenery and if you love tranquility and nature, this is the place for you. You can see the beautiful distant mountains and/or paddy fields from almost all of the rooms. Nice landscaping within the hotel grounds - plants and trees are well-tended. The gardener sure loves his job!

About 10 to 15 minutes’ walk to the edge of Walking Street/Town Centre. The town’s Main Bus station is another 3 to 5 minutes further. Free bicycles are available and hotel provides free songtheow transfer between hotel and town (5 minutes) – very much needed on a sizzling hot day! There isn’t any convenience store in very close proximity to the hotel.

Rooms :
Superior rooms (all are on ground level, below the restaurant and lobby/reception) are poorly maintained. Chairs and tables on the foyer of each Superior unit are very dusty. Curtains, lamp shades and chair cushions are badly stained and look disgusting. Clumps of hair can be found on the cement floor – obviously, cleaning is done half-heartedly. Shower room is dimly lit, not well ventilated and reeks of unpleasant smell, probably due to the poor plumbing system. Tap at the sink does not shut tight so water keeps leaking from it. Not much privacy sitting at the foyer as it opens to public space and you may have guests and staff walking past you anytime. Unless the management takes action and puts up more efforts in the interior maintenance, this category is a very poor room choice.

Deluxe rooms with private balconies are located in a separate block from the reception; almost all rooms offer splendid views. I prefer those on the top floor (no elevators) as you get the best view. I suggest that you avoid rooms which are closest to the main block (where the lobby and restaurant are) as you get noise and smell of breakfast cooking in those rooms in the morning. Some of the balcony views are blocked by trees so it helps to find out during check-in which room you’re getting. Rooms here are better maintained and much cleaner than Superior rooms. More work could be put into improving the shower room’s cleanliness. The shower screen and floor looks like it has not been scrubbed for a long time (stains and marks). The open-shelf wardrobe (in cement) is built within the shower room as opposed to the Superior room's stand-alone teak cabinet which is placed closer to the bed (ie outside the shower room).

Other room types :
There’re also super-deluxe and villa-type rooms (on yet another block) but I don’t think they’re much better off than the Deluxe rooms. These are located closer to the pool.

The rooms’ cement floor finishing could possibly look chic if done artfully but unfortunately it is not the case in this hotel. The tones are far too uneven and cracks from natural wear and tear are patched up in distinctive blobs (especially on the walls of the shower room) so the result is an appearance of poor workmanship and shoddy work.

Service standard and facilities :
Not bad but not fantastic either. Restaurant staff are much more service-oriented and likeable than the aloof staff who work at the reception. Staff’s English language skill is limited.

You can find all the usual hotel amenities and facilities here. An umbrella is provided in each room and that is a very thoughtful gesture. 2 computers are free for use in the mini library (with English books) next to the reception. English and Thai newspapers are placed at the lobby – a nice spot to sit around as you can enjoy the vast green field before your eyes.

The open-concept restaurant is a superb place to have your breakfast buffet while taking in the clean, fresh air and lovely sight of the morning mist in the distance. Not sure if lunch and dinner menu is available though – probably not as I didn’t see any diners during meal times.

This hotel scores mainly on its calm and scenic location. It is a wonderful place to escape from the traffic and noise of the town centre, sit around, relax and simply do nothing while being surrounded by nature.
