Secluded villa nestled in the sleepy hills near the Pai airport. Very lovely area where you view the small hills on the horizon. Recommend to get up early in the morning to see the fog.

The hotel grounds are immense. The entire plot of land and east side of the hill is available for residents to walk around. They have a flower garden, a rice field and several quaint seating areas under trees where you can enjoy with a nice wine and breeze.

The rooms are great, the balconies large enough to see the entire vista, very private feeling. The beds are comfy and soft, made for some great sleep. The morning breakfast is average, you are only given a set of options for breakfast and its not a lot of choice for healthy stuff.

On a quick getaway from Chiang mai we stayed 3 nights in a 1 bedroom villa. Room was perfect, spacious, not overdecorated, and had a full working kitchen. The property is large and beautiful with lots of room to walk around. The pool is small and there are only a few lounge chairs, but it is next to a bar/snack/restaurant witha pool table, great to hang out in the evening. Staff were all very helpful.
The negatives:
1. NO fresh coffee at breakfast, and breakfast foods were low quality
2. Noise travels far in this area and a party in another villa will sound like it's in your villa, but there is a 10pm quiet time.
All in all, a great stay and we will go back!!

Really lovely hotel rooms. We only booked a garden room but got upgraded to a Mountain View which was lovely. Comfy bed and very spacious, the views in this hotel are amazing. We ate in the hotel one night which was also lovely and the set up in the restaurant with a pool table etc overlooking the views is amazing. Breakfast was pretty nice. Also has a gym which was pretty good. Unfortunately the pool was shut when we were there which was very disappointing and probably the main reason we booked the hotel, although they offered a smaller pool in one of the villas it was too small to enjoy if I’m honest. They can give you a lift into town for 200 baht during the day or the free shuttle runs at 1 and 4 which is rubbish timing. The pool and the shuttle are the only reasons I’m giving this a 4 and not a 5 :)

My partner and I stayed here recently during our trip to Pai. I must admit I didn’t check Trip Advisor reviews beforehand, but I wish I had. Honestly, and I’m sorry to say this given how beautiful the grounds are, but I would have stayed elsewhere.

The shower in our room was luke warm and then kept going cold for a few seconds. Only once during the trip was the water actually hot. Although we mentioned this to reception and then an engineer came round to look at the shower, reading other reviews clearly indicates that there’s a problem with the showers. In my opinion, no hotel should be above 3* if it doesn’t have functioning basic amenities like hot showers.

The breakfast was very limited, especially for myself as a vegan where I just had toast. Even for vegetarians there was a limited choice, and my meat eating partner wasn’t too impressed either.

The staff were overall very friendly, however service itself was quite poor. For example, we would have to go over to the waiter and ask for a menu most of the time. Also some of the time we got tired of waiting for them to come to us so we went to them to order. We were never checked on whilst eating, which is when we needed more drinks, so again we went over to the waiters. And when the bill came, we walked across to the other building to the til to pay the bill as we didn’t want to wait anymore.

Upon check out, the staff didn’t really seem to know how it worked. They didn’t realise I had a sizeable deposit behind reception, which I reminded them about. I also now realise that they charged me for the mini bar, which was meant to be free under my booking.

Finally, our room was a premier room under the bar which meant it got very noisy when there was a musician on or with people up late at night.

The positives are the beauty of the property, the rooms themselves are comfortable and well designed, and there’s a nice pool. The views are definitely the best thing. I think the hotel has so much potential given the property itself, but it’s missed the mark and my partner and I would have been better off in a different hotel.

We visited Puripai last 16 of Jan 2015 (for Jive Concert) and stayed at Puripai Villa.

Pro- The room was great and the special activity (LOL DJ Party) was very fun and enjoyable. Honestly we were there only 2 nights but the breakfast was quite variety when compare to others in the area. The hotel was nice as we could feel true 4-5 star when compare to other resort, The hotel was near by Pai Airport which gave us no rush time on the returning flight. Ones can go to Pai by car/van/bus as we did on the way here. We were there many times but this hotel is quite nice and different from other.

Cons - the rate was high esp during high season (But acceptable anyway). But it's obviously low for low seasons. I think the rate shall be a bit near for both seasons so that it could be attractive to anyone who want to take a short break visiting Pai in High Seasons. May be it's good to go ther in Low Seasons too.

Over all was great. We will definitely go back there again.
Thank you.! Especially to K. Tum/Resort Manager

Just had a wonderful 3 days 2 nights stay at the puripai villa. Although the weather was very warm, the care and reception we received from the staff at puripai was even warmer. Not only were my girl fren and I warmly received from the get go, we were so well taken care of during our entire stay there. The view from our villa was just stunning and at times like this, We were most appreciative of all the beautiful wonders that nature has bestow on us. Puripai builds its villas around its surrounding and We can see the effort the owners took to blend the man made structures to the surrounding landscape. My girl fren and I were so thankful to have survive the 700+ curves up and down the winding mountain road from chiang Mai to pai but it was so well worth it. another worthy mention was the city tour the establishment Had plan for us . We found so many hidden jems and numerous nooks and crannys in and around pai. The icing on our trip was the absolutely stunning view we had when we went for our sunset picnic right up on the mountain. Korn, our guide and driver from the villa was a great trouper who took real good care of us. Thank you Korn. All in all it was a fabulous trip and if one can survive the long and winding car ride, puripai villa is really a nice place to relax and unwind .

We booked the 2 bedroom family suite with pool. The grounds are absolutely stunning, and the staff do a great job at making you feel welcome. Our outdoor patio had a giant sectional which we lazed around to soak in the most stunning views. The restaurant is excellent, and we highly recommend the tom yum rice, green curry rice and mango sticky rice. We loved everything about our stay and was very sad to leave. We will never forget our time here. Truly special.

Booked Puripai Villa 1 bedroom with a private pool for 5 nights for my partner and I to enjoy a special time in Pai but was extremely let down. The pool and view are beautiful but asides from that it does not impress. I had troubles with my money transferring to them and they were rude and not helpful about the situation and that was before we even arrived! The rooms itself are quite run down and not cleaned thoroughly. Front of house staff speak very little english for a 4 star hotel this is very frustrating at times. Service is not good which is a shame as we had such high hopes. During our stay the groundsmen would sit on the grass beside our villa which seemed to be out of the camera view so they did not get seen doing nothing.. This obviously made us not want to go outside and into the pool when they were there.
The villa is also very close to the road and all the doors leading outside had broken locks on them which didn't make us feel safe and that our belongings were secure.
If paying via international swift transfer I do not recommend as it was very stressful for me as my bank told me my money was at their bank but the details they gave me for account name did not match up so I had to get it reversed and lost over $100 aud because of this. Would not stay here again and would advise people to stay elsewhere.

If we book a room without breakfast how much is the breakfast ? Thanks
Answer from Khunjeng

I'm not sure if that is possible. The breakfast is usually complementary. I have never experienced one where I have to pay for breakfast separately as these resorts are self contained.
